I'm so lost.....there no explanations or how to remove the motor to begin with

I just had the same issue but with the door shut. I realised the door wasn't fully closed. Or at least the door lock mechanism hadn't fully engaged. Try pushing the door further into the closed position.

Please talk us through it next time. There were no directions on how to disassemble the dryer casing or words to explain what you were doing and why.

Open the door. Try to move the drum. If it moves up/down, your Spindle/spider is broken. It's NOT the Shipping bolts. The cost to repair is 1/2 the price of the washer. Buy another brand. Washers should last 10+ years for one family. Not 3 years. Absolutely horrible design. Worst, Samsung continues to make the same garbage.

Simple Solution. Never buy Samsung Washer/Dryer. Looks. 10/10 Durability 1/10

I've got the exact buzzing noise you've shared, but while the door is closed. And occasionally the washing machine quits mid cycle (well past when it is adding water)... suggestions as to what part to replace/tighten?

What are you doing?

Did everything on my Kenmore. Hums and still won't start. Fans spins, dryer tub spins by hand and still nothing. Grease will help but it should spin and start without grease if it spins by hand. Common sense. Time to buy a new one.

Hey guys, if you're hearing the buzzing noise after installing a new latch with the door shut....check the wires on the latch. One of the connections can be easily put on backwards.

That is the centrifugal switch. Not sure why greasing it helped. Looks like it would have started up anyway but but just run in the start windings until they burned out. The switch lets the motor start on the start windings then slides back as the motor reaches speed and switches to run windings. Scratching my head in this. But hey, it seemed to have worked. Maybe some of f the grease got in the motor bearing/ bushing and that solved the problem.

Wow, That amount of shaking is way too much for a modern washer. It's like ready to shake itself apart with that amount of shaking.

Cat G...If you can't figure out what he is doing, then maybe you shouldn't be tinkering around in your dryer.

My Samsung frig does the same thing. I called tech support at Samsung and they told me to take the filter out and try dispensing water. The noise went away when the filter is out but we don’t have filtered water. I didn’t get to a solution other than removing the noise.

My guess - the moving centrifugal start switch on the motor is stuck (from lint in the old grease? no grease?) in position so the start windings are not being energized. Sunny is freeing up that switch and relubricating it. I like the idea of a dry lubricant so lint won't get stuck there again.

I get what people are saying about the silence but rudeness is not necessary,it's a lot of what is wrong with the world today,if you don't like it they have more videos,move on.

I have the same problem with mine when the door is closed. Has anyone resolved this?
