My generation respected, encouraged and admired my accomplishment when I became a young doctor (many years ago). The current generation is different. I have a young Black male former student who just became a doctor. He reminds me of me at that age, wife new baby just starting out a positive Black man. I'm like 4 years late to this video, but man you was dropping knowledge. I was definitely "that guy" in high school and most of college. Praise God I've been able to see my wack thinking and inferiority complex. Black women are treasures, and it took me a decade and a half to realize it.

Most black females declare me to be a beta, but these gorgeous Asian, Spanish and White women don't; and no, they're not overweight or busted down! They actually have their own natural beauty parts and bring something to the table instead of a loud mouth, "a so-called college degree" and 6 kids. That’s my concern, the effect this negativity will have on young black boys. The sickening part of it is some of these men probably want to poison their minds against black women before they even get a chance at living life.

What all black men need to focus on at this moment in time is to realize that we need to be Godly men. That is, men who have reverence for something bigger than themselves. We are called to be men of integrity, character, and of high moral fiber. Black women are called to be Godly women who exhibit the same attributes. Men of light will attract women of light, and vice versa. We all make the mistake of distracting ourselves with foolishness.
