AMD Ryzen 7 5800G? The 5700G Special ENG SAMPLE 8 Core CPU Brief Review
It is not the incoming 5800G as previous rumor but the last batch of 5700G ENG SAMPLE.
Product code 100-000000263-50.
According to successful results of OC to 4.8 GHz, it certainly is very close or surpass 5800X. However, it may require APU delidding. As most of ENG SAMPLE is using thermal paste inside, while the retail version is soldered, theoretically it could open the integrated heat spreader. Still, we won’t recommend removing any APU’s IHS.

Hello, How can I purchase the upgrade kit? I tried EBAY, but is says that you don't ship to Bulgaria?
Cool!
¿Cómo son los elementos que formar el sistema rc?, me gustaría comprarlo pero no sé qué piezas lleva ni cómo se llaman😢

Have you connected 2 motors in straight and one in reverse? Or all are spinning in same direction?
Wo bekommt man dieses Modell.
Hello Hugo, Could you kindly provide the specs for the Batteries, ESC and Servo which you have used. Also where did you get the waterproof box for the batteries from?

Hugo 1st time on your channel- beautiful model Great video looks awesome in water with music - gr8 you are showing how you did the RC conversion - I’m new to whole RC world and modeling and your video is perfect. Will check out some of your other videos. Thank you 🙏 All the best from down under Lewis Sydney Australia
Great 🎉😂, I love it !
I finished my model and I am not a fan of the two way vectoring ESC. It's not very smooth and when you go forward the motors don't exactly match in RPM thus making the boat always wanting to veer in one direction or the other. It is possible that as the motor brushes break in, the motors may match up better but only time will tell. In the meantime it's a real annoyance. The turning is also very wide so it's very difficult to run in a swimming pool where you need tight steering. I'm replacing the 180 motors with better quality ball bearing 180 motors and replacing the single vectoring ESC with two ESC's and and two 800 mAh battery packs. I have already fabricated a rudder and installed a steering servo with simple pushrod hardware. Overall the quality of the jet pumps and hardware is good, but the ESC leaves a lot to be desired. Chime in with your experiences since I'd like to know if this is an isolated problem or universal.
Nearly 6 years on this cpu now and still running amazing :)
This is really nice, but seeing it in action had me thinking a nice addition would be some sort of inertial counterweight system to level the boat when it turns. I know that the real ships "flop over" on fast turns, especially the really big ones like aircraft carriers, but I think this model would look a lot more realistic if it did not tip quite so much on turns.
The model is very beautiful, its sailing fools you because the video is at normal speed, also the warships because they are very narrow and with large superstructures, they have the tension in the fast turns to take a big tilt in degrees.
Greetings. I know this is an old video. I ordered your conversion kit on eBay as well as the model boat kit. I can't wait to get it. My question is how sharply does the boat steer without any sort of rudder or rotating nozzles? I plan to run the boat primarily in my swimming pool so it has to be able to turn sharply. Your video only shows the model going straight so I have no idea if it turns sharply or if it only can make wide turns. I'll probably install a rudder since it looks easy enough to fabricate, but I rather not have to. Thanking you in advance for a reply.
I would have thought the plastic hull would be too thin…???
ive been searching for info on the 5800g for the past few months. if you can pls say how you got ur hands on this sample? also can you disclose a potential price?

What is the motors itself called? So i can purchase it possibly
this CPU accept ECC memory? nice review! TY
Yes. Here is how it goes with Ryzen: - All standard consumer Ryzen CPUs support ECC - All standard APUs DO NOT support ECC (e.g. xxxxG model numbers) - All business/enterprise Pro APUs support ECC (e.g. Pro xxxxG/xxxxxGE model numbers) - The support for ECC also depends on the motherboard, so you should check with manufacturers as a secondary measure

@@Martin-rv5is Which motherboard do you have? Is the Ram legit? Sometimes these SK Hynix are fakes too.
@@LittleMopeHead The ram are legit. the mother is Asus tuf gaming b550m-plus wifi ii
@@Martin-rv5is Looks like the ram is not in the mobo's support list, so it's a bit of a gamble. I read that someone bought a few rams from various brands before they could find one that worked. It's best to go with a known brand like Kingston, Crucial, etc. I read that A-Tech is very good with compatibility. I have the 5750GE version of this PRO APU. It's currently being shipped to me from China, but I plan to put it on the Gigabyte B550i AORUS PRO AX mini-ITX motherboard. I am also going to gamble with the ram and bought the Kingston Server Premier 32GB (KSM32ED8/32HC) for $75, which appears to be using the Hynix C parts too. If that plan doesn't work, I will return the ram and try the A-Tech Server 32GB kit (AT16G2D4D3200UD8N12V), which is currently at around $100. Wish me luck!

Hi Hugo. I found the RC Conversion on eBay. It appears to be your own site........................excellent!!!
Hi Hugo. Really enjoyed your video. I have had this kit in my stash for some time....................decades in fact. Is the RC Conversion still available and if so who can I purchase it from?
What would be the recommended start mode for this? I'm asking because my motors jump back and forth on my setup but my solder joints are good.
Good day sir do you still sell a rc kit for yamato 1/350? And how can i get one ship to philippines? Thanks
It seems that the 4980hq is a better option as the multiplier may reach 46 instead of 42, and that chip has the same eDRAM advantage as this broadwell one. I haven't really seen a head-to-head between these two as most of the reviewers who are attuned to these special chips would rather test vs the more mainstream haswell or sky/kaby processors.
Hello. There is one thing I don't understand. We make models to look like the real thing. Why do we motorize them to look like toys? That model looks like it has 2,000,000 hp. move the prop at less than 400 rpm which is the actual angular speed. The Bismarck 1:200 I build moves fine with that alone. A single motor from a shaver is enough to move all three props.
Saludos
@@sbenitez1768 mi barco aun no flota. No tengo nada publicado.

Could you itemised the equipment you bought for this conversion for my 1.35 tirpiz
If the finnished model weighs about 11.5 pounds .... it will be scale weight for 1/200
How do you think the 35 watt 5750GE would do, compared to the full fat 65W 5700G
The 5750g is not 35w both of them are 65w but the only diff. is that the 5750g gpu have more technology inside. But the only - are that both of them dont have simultaneous multithreading. We need a cpu with an update on the cpu power with an radeon rx 8 update + we need it with simultaneous multithreading & with all sse/ssse avm fma technologys. If this happend no one need anymore any gpu. Im just waiting for some cpu like this.... that will be CRAZY
So i think the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an Radeon 8 will stay the BEST cpu ever but it doesnt use the Vega 8 of a Radeon gpu. But if you use the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an gpu that have Shader model 6.7 like Rdna 3.0 or Ada Lovelace like an Radeon RX 7900xt or RTX 4070/ti gpu then u will fly in the sky and from there upside down inside the game. But no one have to gift his own money. Because of this we need a strong cpu with all video filters like the 7800X3D with Radeon 8 or stronger like a Radeon 8.
It is a PRO APU. I have a feeling it would perform less than the 5700G due to the low TDP. There is also the PRO 5750G (65W) variant too, which is probably the same as 5700G, but PRO (supports ECC). I believe the PRO 5750GE is meant for business and servers while the 5700G is meant for consumer desktops.
It could be just a 5700g but with lower tdp and overclocking being disabled. It is still impressive if you look at performance per watt. I had to give up a lot of multi threaded performance if I wanted to bring the 5700g to 35 watts. I might just get the 5750GE to mess with because my current system has 5700g being limited to 35 watts still can emulate some PS3 games with iGPU. If I don't have to sacrifice a lot for 35 watts then thats a huge win for me. 5700 GE is very good if you go for highest performance per watt.
I only just learned about this CPU. helpful video. btw there is no need for the "and" like "and G" its just 5700G (said all in one)
Good review dude.

Hi, I recently bought a Ryzen 7 5750G APU to play games, but I found out something later that makes me worried, the APU has 12 PCIe lanes, if I buy an RX 6700 XT that has 16 PCIe lanes will performance decrease a lot? how does it work? I think I made a mistake
Not sure were you read that but that is not correct, it supports a 16X lane for your graphics card, but only 12 for USB 3.1. So technically most connected devices (SSD's) will only run on gen 3 speeds, but your GPU isnt effected.
