      It's easier to do with the electronic groupsets. for the mechanical groupsets it's better to keep the cables outside. But the SL7 sport comes with everything you need to hide the cables.

That being said, the ztto wheels come in either XDR or HG hubs (stock hubs) so you would be able to change everything else over no problem. Plus the wheels are about $240ish CAD on AliExpress which is super reasonable for what you get!

    Great review. How would you asses this bike in terms of damping road vibrations, compared to other bikes you had? Does the Cannondale frame a noticeably better job? I'm sitting on fence right now between this bike, and super equipped bike (full GRX and DT Swiss wheels) from a less known, local brand, with a quire regular frame (perhaps made in China). The other bike is slightly more expensive, but still a bargain for the price.

    • @Velodeen
      @Velodeen 5 місяців тому

      Honestly, the frame itself does a pretty good job at dampening the vibrations. That is also due to the wheel and tire setup. However, I do get a lot of vibrations thru the handlebars which can be jarring at times. I’m switching over to carbon handlebars hoping it makes it a little better. Depending on your plans with the bike I’d say go for the other bike. Seems like a better overall package. If you want to upgrade it in the future then go with this. Aluminum is always going to be a little more firm to ride. Carbon is a lot more compliant.

      Glad you enjoyed the video! I’ll be making a build video and going over the wheels as well as a review once everything is up and running!

    I like the way you film the video, just like a normal day experience with a camera, not heavy edited

    That was close?

      Doesn't look too close when the car enters the frame, but if you see the speed/trajectory of the car, it was a lot closer when it got beside my rear wheel.

    There are 0 cycling lanes in your place?

      Welcome to basically all of North America :(

      We have some painted lanes that are mostly used for parking here in the suburbs. But they have been making an effort into improving the cycling infrastructure here so I can't complain. Still a long way to go.

    What size gp5000 are you running and how is the fit? Cheers

    • @Velodeen
      @Velodeen 6 місяців тому

      I’m running 28mm gp5000s on a 28mm wide rim so the fitment is flush on the wheel. A little bit of a pain to put on but nothing some tire levers can’t solve

    Great job! I´m upgrading my sport aswell. What did you do with your 105 components and wheel set? Sold them? I talked to my dealer in town, and said: "Hey, I dont need those wheels", then you had to pay the difference against a pair of new carbon fiber wheels. So the shop kept the wheels that came with the bike. Maybe you did the same?

      I just sold everything on marketplace. Those parts pretty much paid for the rival groups that's on the bike now.
