Hello Margarita. My question to you is how helpful do you find an Ipad or tablet to be for a student?
You should buy a mouse, it is quicker than the touchpad
Okay noted ☺️ thanks

Hey Margarita! I'm starting my Germany process in a few days I wanted to know that, if I wanna apply for STK, do I need to apply for the university first? Do all universities accept only adult passports during applying time ? With 87% in intermediate , will it be easy for me to enroll in these following Universities for Medizin & STK : Heidelberg university University of Bonn LMU Munich Cologne University Charite Berlin Aachen
It's so inspiring for students like us who wanna do medizin Keep the good work
And you surely will do it!!!! I believe in you🥺♥️

@@Margaritamatadeen tnx for your reply So I'll be starting German language in few days & wanna know that If I'm doing Studienkolleg, Do I need a university application for that? Do all universities accept over 18 age during applying for the university? Is getting a conditional letter easy in these universities for medizin and STK M-Course : Heidelberg university Charite Berlin LMU Munich Cologne Aachen University of Bonn
@@Areyoudumb759 Heyy I didn’t go through Studienkolleg as I was able to apply directly, so I’m not entirely sure about all the specifics. But here’s what I know: 1. Most universities do require you to first apply and get a conditional offer before joining a Studienkolleg. 2. Being over 18 isn’t an issue for applying to German universities as long as your qualifications meet their requirements. Being under 18 could have required some forms signed by parents (not too sure though) 3. For Medizin and M-Course programs, it can be challenging to get a conditional letter since they’re very competitive. Your grades and certificates need to align with the university’s standards. It’s best to check the admission requirements on the websites of the universities you’re interested in (e.g., Heidelberg, Charité, LMU Munich). They usually have all the details you’ll need. You can also call them or send an email. They do answer very quickly and in details (based on my personal experience) Good luck with your studies and German 🥰 Do you have more questions?
Hey mam. I am from india and i am currently doing my mbbs undergraduation 2nd yr. I want to post graduate in dermatology from this college but i lack knowledge can u tell me the process how can i apply for same and what are requirements

Hi Margarita Dr to Be! Thanks so much for sharing all these insights about Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. I’m a third-year med student from Indonesia, and I’ll be visiting Berlin soon. I’d love to explore Charité and get a feel for the environment there. Do you have any tips or suggestions for a visitor like me, or maybe know anyone who might be open to showing me around a bit? Thanks a lot in advance!
Heyy! Thanks a lot for your comment 🥰 sooo I don't think there are any specific people or organisation that show travellers around but there may be if you look online. I'd advise to visit Mitte, Charlottenburg , Prenzlauer Berg and Neuköln. Come visit our main campus- Charité Campus Mitte. There is also Campus Virchow and Campus Benjamin Franklin - they are pretty nice too! There is also Campus Buch but haha I was myself never there! You can visit all the nice parks and coffee shops as well as a ton of museums ! You can also check online like Instagram for example - there are pages that show what festivals and celebrations there are on the coming weekend :) Berlin is a place for everyone and you can surely find anything you like :) Visit the Charité Medical Museum on the campus as well 😉😉🥰❤ If you are coming in November// December -> prepare for fun Christmas markets! There are also a lot of flee markets on Sundays :) Who knows maybe we will see each other on the campus:)
@ Thank you so much for the recommendations! I will try to go there later on when I’m there. 🥰
So astetic😍

Hi Margarita, I am 14 year old and my dream is to be accepted into Charite once I am old enough. I want to be a paediatric doctor once I have finished my studies. I am currently on A1 level and looking to increase to C2 by the time I am 18. If you have any tips, that will be amazing. My parents currently don't have the money to send me to proper German classes. so if you have any free options that could help, it will be highly appreciated. I also would like to know how your University applying process was like and how you got into Charite, because apparently it has a 15% acceptance rate, which is pretty low. I'm not going to lie, but it is quite a prestigious university. but nevertheless. I want to say that I love your content and I hope you post more, Vielen Dank :)
@@imsoverynotpreppy heyyy! Thank you so so much for your comment and support ♥️♥️ I definitely will post more 😁 just still adapting with posting and studying : so first of all you don't really need C2 to get in. I mean you usually need Telc C1 HS or equivalent papers like DSH . Goethe C2 is also equivalent. However you don't need Telc C2 for example. The language requirements can be found on the website of the unis. 4 years is a long time and I am sure you will reach a very good level : all the best :) About tips: I'd advise to practise a lot by reading german children books, watching Netflix or other films in german, listening to news in german, watching social media in german and etc!! Grammar has to just be learnt by heart. Everytime you come across a new word- I'd advise you to write it down or do a flashcard (that's what I did). And keep on revising those words. Honestly most of my german learning was self learning - I found school important just because I got books from it and also teachers who corrected my work- doesn't mean that without a school, you cannot learn German 🙃
Now free options- I don't really know if there are any institutions offering classes for free. Maybe german unis themselves and not a language school but I am not sure 🙏 Now the applying process depends. First of all from where do you come and how many years of high shool you have. For example I did A level and had 13 years of high-school- therefore my highschool degree was equivalent to the german Abitur- I just needed german and I could apply. Some people who just do 12 years or if their degree is not recognised - they have to do an additional year - Studienkolleg. Then they can apply :) you can find what applies to you on the Anabin website. Yes Charité is pretty competitive- it usually requires a GPA of 1.0 and a language mark of more than 80% (Note gut). Other unis just require you to pass the language test and can accept a GPA ...ouff idk...maybe till 1.5. Also you can do TESTAS for some unis and it will improve your GPA. Some unis need TESTAS as a requirement itself. So the application system is completely not standardised- depends on every uni. That's why make sure to read the websites of all unis that interest you very well😃
So yes! Pediatry sounds fantastic! I wish you all the best in achieving it and feel free to ask more questions 😊
@@Margaritamatadeen actually thank you so much. This has been so, so useful. I can't wait till I come to Germany and study. It's been a life long dream, so thank you for all your suggestions. I absolutely appreciate it🎀✨
Where did you get the black blank-paged notebook? Is it available online?
@emilykovacs6536 I got it from Woolworth! I am not sure if it is available online but hopefully you get one!!
Your video is really interesting to me because I'm a medical student too! How long did it take you to become fluent in German? Is it complicated for a foreigner to get into a German medical university?
@@lerakvasnikova7454 ua-cam.com/video/p6fIB-1ZbGw/v-deo.htmlsi=3_xX8QZ7HCl0x_Q7 Did a video about that :)
Refreshing to see you start using stop motion to film🎉
@vivekj5162 thank you! I'll use more of it ^^ It's really fun to use that
Hello Margarita. How fluently do you understand your notes in the German language? Do you understand everything? How often do you have to search or translate words?
Hello! Thank you very much for your comment 🥰 I think I am pretty fluent because I understand 90% of all without translation. However I still translate all the digital notes to English // watch videos// read any websites first in English to understand the info. Even if I understand what's written, it's complicated to understand theories as well as i do in English. After understanding, I write my notes in german // read the same websites// watch the same videos but in german. The remaining 10% that I totally don't understand- I also have to translate that :)So I do understand most words fluently but to understand the whole concept I need to translate :)
And I am now in my second semester- in my first semester I literally had to use Google Translate every 5 min. Therefore it's a continuous improvement process! That's why translate as much as you need! We are all different ❤️ also during my language course, I separately bought chemistry, biology and physics books and translated them. That may also be why , why I understand more words. You can do that too if you have time :)
Congrats 🎉.....you really inspire me! I also wanted to study at Charité. I'm from India and fluent in English. I'm learning german. I have time, so I just wanted to ask is it compulsory for non EU students to get emrolled at a studienkolleg, give tests like aufnahmeprufung, study the M kurs and also give the fps, TestAs? Because in some places it says that a high class 12 grade, along with c1 level german is enough. I would really be grateful to u if u could help me out a bit.
@sreyandatta3632 heyy! Thank you very much for your question ^^. It will be difficult for me to answer because Mauritians don't have to do Studienkolleg in any case. I'll try to give you as much advice as possible! Most probably: yes you will need to do the M Course. There may be exceptions but I don't know: every university here is different and the application system is not standardised (as compared to UK)- this means that unis impose their own rules during the application process. It may happen that an English program or a private uni will accept you without Studienkolleg but most public universities may demand it from you. What you can do is go onto each university's website and read about their requirements. I know : it's a lot of work but I also did it. Literally just go onto all websites- translate and write down all what they say. It may be a bit complicated at first but you will get it with time! Another thing you can do is go onto "Anabin" website. It's also a bit complicated to use but if you have difficulties, let me know and I'll do a video. On the website- you give your highschool certificate type and country and they will automatically show you if you need Studienkolleg.
So yup!! My best advice would be: write an email to the uni asking what it wants (I mean in your case it will be Charité- so send the international admission officers an email asking them). You can also try reading on forums from other people but asking directly the uni will cost you almost no time but will provide you a very valuable info. I would also advise you to see if there are any trustworthy good "study in germany" counselling companies. I was with Studyways from Mauritius whose partner was ISL language school: they both guided me through my application. As for TestAS - as long as ik Charité doesn't ask for it. From me it wanted just my grades and german language certificate. I think it will be same for you (even if you do Studienkolleg but still confirm with the uni or from it's website 🙏). Test AS is compulsory for some unis but most don't need it. It can increase your admission chances in some unis too. Everything stands on the website of each uni ❤️ I hope my reply was helpful! And please ask any remaining or new questions! I'll try my best to help you and thank you so much for your nice comment ❤️
Hi...... thank you so much for replying 💗 💓 I'm gonna do everything you said and sorry I'm a bit late. We just had exams in our school. Best of luck for your upcoming tests 👏 ✨️

Hi. I'm a prospective student from India looking for studying medicine in Germany. Cpuld you giude me on that? Also, i have abitur of 1.3 from my home country. I will attend Studienkolleg and give TestAS. Do you think i have a chance of getting in?

heyyy I also am interested going to this uni but I have no idea where to start if I could talk to you about this it will be very helpful I am also going to study medicine so any help would be very much appreciated thankkssssss!
Heyyy ofcc!!! I would love to help you. First it depends if you will be applying as a foreigner or as a german/EU citizen. :) Then let me know what exactly interests you about the process :) if you are a foreigner then I can already say you will need a good GPA (grades) and a good language score (For example Telc C1 HS - score "gut" ). If you are in the EU quota, your process will be much more different. In any case let me know😊
Interesting video! What is your first language and how similar do you think it is to German?
How much time do you spend studying per day?
For my german language course, I used to study on average 12/13 hours per day. For now, I am still adapting to university and trying to find a balance :) Therefore sometimes a lot and sometimes not that much. On average I'd say 4 to 10 hours for now. Hopefully soon it will become a fixed value again :)
You don't need to learn dialects when you live for example in Berlin because unless you're very old everyone speaks high German. Also Germans who only know high German can often times not understand other dislect especially from Austria or Switzerland so don't worry about that. In most big cities in Germany the people speak high German only especially in younger generations. Only maybe in bavaria they speak a little different or in cologne.
Oh wow thank you so much for all this information!! It is so cool to know about it. Our German language syllabus does include knowledge of dialects and therefore I always thought that that's something that man absolutely needs to know. But good to know! This is so encouraging for any german learner. Thanks❤️
How can we find those events ? Is there a website or an App ?
Unfortunately there is no app or website as far as I know but if you are in a language school in a german town, then you can ask your teacher(they will 100% know). If they don't, ask other teachers (even if you don't work with them) and also students (Networking is very important here because there will be certainly someone who knows any kind of events). You can also get to know about an event from social media (like from my video- now you know about Meet and Speak in Koblenz). And you can also try asking on platforms like Quora or Reddit (if there is still no posts about it) if anyone knows about such events for students in a specific town. Hopefully this helps ❤️
