Is it posible to repair ecu , which is wrong conected to acu (- to +)? Ecu inside has any fuses? It is BOSCH ME7.1.1

I would like to give my old Opel Astra X20DTL (EDC15M) a go in the sense of chip tuning it, also only doing it as a hobby. I was wondering what hot air gun/station you use and if you have any suggestions for one? Really appreciate the vids, keep it up! Also any other beginner tip?

Hi, do you have advice for me? I am trying to change the dash on my A4 B7 (RB8 Immo4) from the mono FIS to color FIS. I can not read the immo data from old dash for some reason, always gives me an error. Eeprom dump comes out with useless garbage. If I install the new dash I can read the immo data and eeprom from it, even change km, without any problems, only have the problem with the old dash which I urgently need to read the immo data from to transfer to new dash. What might be the issue? I am using Carprog 13.77
