Preparing for the Texas All State choir with this song!!!

I sang this piece last year at Missouri all state choir. Out of my 6 years of choir and honor choirs this is my favorite piece by far. Every time i listen to a proper performance such as this one its more beautiful than the last. You've created something truly beautiful and i hope you realise the magnitude of this accomplishment. Y'know I think this song is just so cool I feel that for a lot of people, myself included, choir has become that home/community where we can belong. I just think this piece is so cool and I hope i get the chance to sing it sometime.

Our school got to sing this during the festival and it was incredible, You're an amazing conductor, writer and teacher and it was probably one of my favorite concerts. It's still stuck in my head!

Y'know, at ACDA Southern, you asked us what this song meant to us, and I do really wish I could have heard everyone's reply, even if that took hours. For my 2 cents, I personally see 2 main motifs in the song: The marching on of Time & The Human Spirit. Time is self-explanatory. No matter what happens or what you're feeling, that, too, shall pass. It's the same with the Human Spirit & Progress. No matter how much of a rut you're in, you will get up again and keep going.
