hi what guitar you are using ? nice
Hey, it’s called veritas mini master.
@@lightfootfx I have not heard about this brand . not available in Asia side .
After watching your video even though I’m running stereo ins and outs, I’m convinced I’m missing something as mine doesn’t sound like this. When I turn down the left or right channels I still hear the other (hearing left when it’s all the way down.) I’m using stock tone factor IRs. Im going mono through my overdrives into a strymon mobius (mono into mobius) then in and out into a Strymon BS and TL and finally stereo in to the ACS1. Am I missing something?
Hey man, that all sounds right, I have noticed even when one side is down I’m getting a very very low reading on that side but I don’t hear it compared to the other side so haven’t given it much thought. Make sure your interface isn’t blending the channels or similar in whatever Daw you may use.
So is the delay the only one after the loop?
Yeah pretty much, I never need to touch it. I still have delay before reverbs though.
Thank you for this video!!! I've been looking for something like this for almost 2 weeks. most of the other videos are tone advertisements it seems. A well earned sub here!
Hey thankyou so much!
Any advice on getting the head room to match on the dream and ruby? I have a veritas portlander and whenever I seem to do just a clean boost the dream seems to get a lot louder than the ruby, but if I dial them in with the boost on, then the dream sounds quieter than the ruby when the boost is off. I think is mostly the bass of the dream that gets louder but dialing the bass know back doesn't seem to fix it either
Interesting, I would make sure the gain is set similar between the 2 of them, since the dream is getting louder when you boost it, that makes me think it’s set cleaner than the ruby so it has more headroom, I would increase the gain more on the dream and then lower the output to match the ruby still and you should be able to get to a point where when you hit the boost they both breakup equally and have pretty close volume. You’re essentially just trying to get the headroom’s to match before any pedals get pushed into them, but they won’t be perfect matched unfortunately but usually very close. Hope that’s helps!
Best explainer yet
What about Woodrow Dream
Maybe someday! Haha
Ah I remember the first time I discovered time based effects.
Friend, since I'm looking to go from ACS1 to 2 ToneX One, I already have the Stereo canvas, doesn't it correct the phase? Or should I necessarily get a Diso + Polrev?(I ask this in this video because I had heard that with the UA FX amps there was also a phase issue)
Hey man thanks for watching! You are correct you will need something like the diso+ with pol reverse mod. The normal walrus canvas does not fix the phase issues that come with the UAFX amps.
@@lightfootfx Last question bro. So the phase issues does not occur with all amplifiers? (A guy on Facebook has two ToneX (big) and he uses Canvas stereo and says he has no phase problems)
Sorry I misread your original question. Yes for 2 Tonex pedals it depends on the captured amps, any amp capture you use will have the original phase the real amp has, so it depends on the luck of the draw in which amps you pair, some will be out of phase and some will be in phase. I use the tone factor ac30 and pro sonic captures, these are both out of phase with each other in real life and so they are on the dual Tonex as well. So you might be safer getting a diso with polarity mod, unless you know for sure the 2 captures you will be running are in phase.
Hi. Enjoyed the video. I purchased a TONEX pedal recently to play at my church. I have been using a Helix. I went to use the TONEX for the first last night but the volume was so low I couldn’t use it. Are you playing direct in at your church? I’m not sure if I’m missing a setting on the TONEX that I need to change. The sound guy had to gain it up significantly to even hear it.
Hey man! I am running direct into the sound board at my church. I set the preset volume on the patch first and then use the main volume knob for extra adjustments. If you are too quiet try turning up the preset volume and then turn up the external volume knob as well.
When I recording With the dream 65, do i need to use linebox? Because I have the same us you. I did a recording without the linebox. But it sound different.
You don’t need a line isolator, you only need that for long runs like going from a stage to the soundboard.
Great content and what a great review! Love from Israel ❤️
Thanks for your support!
Great job!! Super nice sounds! 🎉
Thankyou so much!
Make a short versus video, against ToneX please (If the same IRs can be used it would be more objective)
That is on my radar at some point
How are you controlling the cloudburst and recalling those presets. I can’t figure out how to save presets with the pbc10 any help would be great.
It’s been a minute but I set the cloudburst to sound how I want it then I hold the button down until it blinks, then I click the pbc preset that I want to assign it to and that triggers a save on the cloudburst.
thanks for adding "worship" in the title so I know to "don't recommend channel"
Cool man! It’s doing just fine 😄
@@lightfootfx if only we could say the same thing about Christianity and the fact that it's being gaslit into becoming a hate group by the GOP. Hopefully your church is fighting against this, if so I apologize. I just can't believe what the modern church is cosigning these days. It's obscene.
Well aren't you pleasant
Guitartone ist only on one Side
0:00 I'm new to guitar. I want to learn this style of the music you played (post rock?). Can you recommend me the source I can learn by myself?
Have you tried the Lambertones Blondie?
I have not yet but I’ve always been interested to try them!
BLAH BNLAH BLAH --- Shut up about your guitar bro ---- this is suspsoe to be about the modelers..
This was really helpful. Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching!
Ah…the worship guitar ambience…😂…no, honestly I love it! Excellent board. ❤ BEAUTIFUL guitar, BTW…I get why you love it.
Thanks so much!
What a stupid pup test....All you hear are your effects
TONEX AND ACS1 SHOOTOUT INCOMING???
It’s definitely on the idea list!
Fellow worship guitarist spotted! 🫡🔥💯🗣️ Incredible demo, man! :)
Hey thanks so much!
The Dream 65 having reverb built in was a deciding factor for me over the Iridium (one great sounding pedal to PA).
Awesome video, this helped me decide to get a Ruby. If my honeymoon phase with it lasts (I love it so far) I might end up getting a Dream as well. I already have a Deluxe Reverb, but would be nice not to have to lug it to gigs… too much risk of damage or theft.
Great choice! Both those pedals are amazing! Thanks for watching!
Why you guys sound like you bout to kiss...
I wish someone would do a video of how the midi functionality works with saving presets. i have tinkered with mine and it loses the presets when i power down the unit. does anyone use the midi capabilities of this pedal?
Try york IRs please! I wanna see comparisons
I have tried them before and liked them a lot as well! I’ll see about doing another video with them some time.
@@lightfootfx I actually prefer the ACS1 over most of them. Not sure if its just me
I came here to listen to the fralins but these polecats won me over ,they sound massive and that's the sound I'm going with.
Haha that’s awesome! Both are great just different flavors.
Do you use the compresor and Highgain at same time? Excuse my poor english. Saludos!
No problem! I always have my compression on because I use a very small amount, so yes even with high gain I leave the compressor on.
After that great review, I’m probably getting in trouble again. I guess I do need another Tele. love that guitar! Thanks for an honest review!!
Hey thanks for watching! I’ve played probably 3 Nash guitars in my life, everyone so far was super great to play!
Great play and great tone! What made you throw out Dream, Ruby and get tonex?? Ruby + Lion Sounds rlly nice, but I have a strong urge to go with tonex or tonex one because of the headroom and versatility.
The ruby and dream are a great combo don’t get me wrong, but the Tonex feels just as good to me only I can use amps that I prefer. I like the old Korg era vox ac30s from the 90s and so now I can run one and any other amp that I want as long as the capture is good. I wasn’t a big fan of the vintage ac30 sound in the ruby even though it’s an identical recreation it’s just a sound that I don’t prefer.
@@lightfootfx Thanks for replying! Yeahh Ruby and Dream are indeed a great combo! But I am going tonex one for experiment haha
Very cool! Please share this preset with us! 😅
If you shoot me an email at lightfootfx@gmail.com I can send it to you.
What's the purpose of demonstrating pups with a stage of effects?? Clean is the only way.
You use an Apolo twin on your guitar gig rig?
Hey! I only use it to dial in tones at home, when I play live somewhere I just plug into a DI or line isolator with XLR going to front of house
Thank you!
Why all the damned effects?????? We want to hear the modelers not the effects. Same on all of these types of posts.
Sounds great. I usually just use it clean and push a drive into it but im thinking it would be great to have a chimey clean playing soft and some nice growl when playing harder. It is achievable just with guitar and acs1 correct?
Hey thanks so much! Yes you can achieve exactly that with just the ACS1 and a guitar 🤘🏻
Klit
Think you’ll get the new Tone X One?
Ha I already did! Been messing around with it and think I will replace these with it.
Ima tube amp guy forever n buying a Tonex soon. I use the stereo output of my ditto looper to power amp in on a slave amp. Outdoors live its HEAVEN ON EARTH. N makes for a MUCH livelier time with the band. 😎
If you want some great different modulation get a Unicorn V2 by JHS to go with your other one there :) It has the vibrato you like too.
Thanks for the recommendation, I will check that out
Bro use the King of Tone. Just do it. Give in to the devil just this once ❤ All kidding aside, it's amazing and you deserve to have it on permanently. It's basically a better Klon. Just do it 😀
Yeah I’m really digging it alot!
And it only costs like 6 cups of coffee.
Yeah man sounds real nice! Love the chimey cleans…
Thanks so much!
As a Vox user, I think the Ruby by a mile!
Another one for the ruby! That’s for sharing
Damn... these church players need to develop their ear
Alright Lui
amazing content bro
Thanks so much for watching!
Sounds great. The stock IRs that are included with the acs1 are actually from tonefactor already. The tonefactor ones give you more options, but the 2.0 stock IRs are pretty good.
You are right I think I forgot to mention that in the video. Yeah I like the other tone factor options a bit better. Thanks for watching!
