would this tool work for my car blue print? I have a modified car blueprint and I need to replicate everything the easy way. please if you can tell me
Hmm, it's possible, but there are likely better plugins available for vehicle replication. If you decide to use GAS, you'll need to convert your vehicle into a GAS character to utilize all the options effectively.
So you create a basic video about a repNotify to save and transfer states of variables to late joining players 😅 i think you have to change the title
Game mode does not exist on clients, right? So there's no reason to assign custom events replication, it will always run only on server
i 100% agree with you. I don't know UE5 and i m not a developer, but somehow when i start learning UE engine i realised this must be the case with all this plugins without even know it. Point shot.
The video is kind of misleading. The marketplace is where you buy any plug in and it doesn't mean that all the plug-ins you buy will be installed in the game. As for the lag there is something called optimizations and any game before release should go through that stage...

hi, the GAS replication you showed in the end worked from Client to Server, but if doing the action as the server, it won't be replicated to the client. How would the setup for that should look like, so both the client and server see the action, not just the server.
Sound is horrible on this one, but the concept looks fun. :)

Is there a way in BP to also client predict the hit? Im not sure if i even need this but im gonna ask. If my hatchet swings im able to offload the anim to the client which is not critical. But the hit itself is delayed obviously. Is it alright for the player to have that delay at higher pings or should i use some sort of client prediction for that too? Because i guess if i add client prediction and the player gets a rollback is absolutely annoying and frustrating. So i guess its better to keep it this way and the player only gets a hit if the server also sees the hit?

Should I use EOS or Steam for multiplayer?
Definitely EOS cause there are barely any tutorials on it plus it's also totally free and from Epic.

hi, I assume that making the text in Verse is useful as it allows to show variables on the billboard (like kills), however if I only need the billboard to show one simple sentence, can I just do the text in normal UEFN under -> user options -> message, or do I have to do it in Verse?

Personal opinion, this topic is inappropriate for a brief video such as this. You should go in-depth - show examples, et cetera.
Try avoiding unreal engine plugins but if you need to, optimize or dissect what you need!

How will UE5.4's workflow improvements make your dev life easier?
So does this work for literally anything? i.e if I wanted to make a wall run ability, would it still work even though the 'Character Movement Component' tries to force corrections on client-based movement calls?
This isn't suitable for everything. For handling character movement and related aspects, I would recommend using C++ or searching for a plugin that accurately replicates movement dynamics

I have a problem. Everything that I whant to replicate is working. but the only thing that isnt working is, when the client is doing it. then it is not replicating. I dont know why. Can somebudy help?

Do you need to do this for every replicated asset?
I want to say yes. but I would test without it to see if you yield the same result. Just make sure you test with server and some clients.
