The Heritage Locomotives of CSX are 100% awesome to see in scale models. 😃 I was having technical difficulties on my other phone where i watch all my broadcast & was with operator assistance wondering what happened to my service, I straightened that out, That's why my chat comment came late on part 2 . (Saw the entirety later) Thanking you for doing all this with model trains & for making 2024 a pleasure to watch this channel. Thanks for that good show. But, i don´t know where modelers got that bad habit of whistling at every start. Don´t know all the rules, but sound signal goes back to pre radio days in steam age. In those times, brakemen was giving movment requests by hand signal at day and with their lantern at night. Engineer repeating with whistle said order. Also when more than one steam locomotive was on the train, whistling was used to give indications to other units or pusher in the rear. Can´t imagine flat switching in the yard at 3 AM with those nonsenses horning at each start or change of directions for trying to sleep neighbors. But may be i´m wrong, and in the US, they like trains in pre radio age. Don´t take my comment badly. It´s a real disease among modelers. Imagine that in a city in your car and all other car drivers at each stop or red light.... Nice layout, operations and story with stall and loss air pressure.😊😊😊😊

No, its not THE most realistic but it is in my top 10 in the country for sure.

Scott does an awesome job video recording the layout and running of the trains. As a fairly new member, I am still awed by the detail of what has been put together over many years. The lighting and landscaping are first rate. It is an absolute blessing to be a part of this club and to be taught new skills beyond my current level by a group of people who love the hobby.

Is the csx heritage one of the sxt ones or custom?

Maybe not the most realistic, anyway not bad: those rusty freight cars are quite effectively close to the real. Thumbs up mostly fot the ambientation: rocks, trees, grass, etc. Really realistic, yea.👍 8:40 10:11 way the fastest freight train ever seen, running about at 45/50 mph...! The recipients of those goods will surely be happy.

Cool videos. Would like to see more videos on operations on other parts of layout, barge, central station, ect:).....meanwhile after watching the video, apparently I spoke too soon!!

I know that Central Station is located in a rural area, Not sure how the passengers felt about those stock cars parked in the shed. LOL May need to make sure the stock cars remain out in the open air the next time.

Great layout, the one downside for me, was the modern railroad with 1950-1960 vehicles😳

While I am closer than before, this would work well for me with my ProtoThrottle. PT makes switching and even mainline fun.

That's really cool ! Now all that needs is for the maker's of the trains to buy would fabricate an actual Twisted Looking Ozzy Steam Locomotive with an Ozzy Face on the front of the Steam Locomotive with his mouth open looking scary with that very song playing while it's running down the track Then all that's left to do is simply "TAKE MY MONEY" so I can own one of those myself. And fabricate an entire layout of rolling stock in the Ozzy style hauling stuff like instruments and stage equipment among other things ! ALL ABOARD, HA HA ! \\m//
