Mine cant strip a round out of the mag but on full mag. It locks back on the last round so it should be going back far enough. Very annoying.

Fun fact: School of the American Rifle did a great video on bench blocks to clamp an AR15 receiver. The thing ot note here is that the barrel is NOT supported here by anything other than the pin and upper receiver. These can fail under high torque. Using a device like the Midwest Industries "Upper Receiver Rod" engages the barrel lugs itself to prevent rotation and prevents the torque force on the muzzle device from being transferred to the upper receiver itself.

What colored spring his with scs h1 equivalent?

I installed one on my carry handle AR and used the white spring. it's still ejecting rounds to 2 o'clock. I guess I'll have to buy 1 tungsten weight and use the black spring. Idk. Main reason I ordered it was to stop the jamming but after I polished the feed ramp it stopped jamming. Now I'm just trying to tune for the proper ejection. I dont have a tuneable gas block

I’d imagine with the lightest spring they offer your bcg would be slamming back into the end of your buffer tube pretty hard….. I’ve got the black one on mine and it slams back hard enough to where I ordered the tuning spri by kit and plan to go UP two colors to yellow to help soften the blow and slightly slow the bolt down to help stay on target a lot easier…. I have a hydraulic buffere and xtra power 308 spring in my aero EPC and the stiffness of that spring and the hydraulic cause my pcc to barely move the slightest off target

Any experience with the Maxim XS version? I have the standard length JP SCS 15 spring pack but wondering if the white spring could go on an XS to mimic their 85% on that one, based on JP’s chart.

EMT comes 10 ft. (120 in.) at Home Depot and elsewhere. Buy 2 10 ft. lengths, cut 1st one into 3 - 40" legs, cut 2nd one 1 - 40 in. leg, leaving 80 in. for top bar. This makes a very good, stable stand.

I had a side charger bcg, i swapped for a rearcharging one and bought a rearcharging handle, but what if the bcg doesnt fit with the charging handle inserted?
