Scruton Lectures 2021 - Niall Ferguson on the Future of the Anglosphere
What a liar and a fraud
applies to both Fiona and Ayaan
Peter Hitchens, gets better with age, it’s a triumph, we are all able to discover him and his thoughts and writing. Hearing him deliver his thoughts was a joy. It is wonderful to have him discussing his thoughts in this way. Worth watching and reflecting his on his spoken writing and the content contained here within. The brief discussion towards the latter part of the presentation was all too brief. Deep thoughts and hard work will be needed by the people to fully establish England’s conservatism that can free the world of tyranny once again.
Seminal work and wonderful to see. It is vital that we the people, the plebs understand who our country and freedom is being destroyed by the usurpers of New Labour it’s charlatans dressing up Law fair to destroy our sovereign parliament and democracy. Wake up and repeal the legal threat to true democracy.
We love our Founder, Ayaan so much! Thank you for giving her a platform to spread her wisdom and knowledge. Find more Ayaan videos on our channel.

Hello, intellectual Mutt here. I've listened to quite a few Scruton lectures and bios. Im Canadian and I recognize a lot of Mr. Hitchens characteristizations of conservatives in my home country. Between the two sirs, can anyone direct me to their most concise presentations of what a conservative actually is?
As a long time fan of both Maurice Glasman and John Gray I really enjoyed watching this. Glasman confidently forecasting Trump's victory two weeks before the Presidential Election shows his other predictions - particulary that Labour need to reinvigorate industry and the armed forces or get replaced by Reform - should be taken seriously.
Thank you❤Our Christian sister
Thank you, Dr Starkey, for bringing your perceptive insight, erudition and knowledge to inform us of our dire reality in this hour.
Two great minds. Thanks for a brilliant lecture and fascinating conversation. What a pity Maurice isn't still Ed Miliband's guru.
Stars at about 3:45
An amazing speech. I pick up his themes over recent years if put into a📕 , A long intro Henry 8th-Burke. A history of the Conservative Party. French Revolution begins Cons Party. Use Disraeli’s legacy-Thatcher strangely Right leaning Whigs then Liberals entering a Conservative big Tent taming CONSERVATIVES. You need conservatives though to be tamed & in this era no Conservstive Party. It died.
The title of this video is so correct: “The Irreconcilable Values of Islamism and the West”… islam detests everything about the west. Also, has anyone heard of “CAIR”? or the Council on American Islamic Relations. There’s a collection of words to boggle the mind! The only ‘relations’ islam wants with the west are the violent submissive wife-beating type that Muslim men are so well known for. They don’t want to be agreed with, they want to be obeyed. You don’t even have to take my word for it, just watch videos about islamists on youtube & hear it straight from the horses mouth.
Thank you for your clear explanations of the reality and opening our minds up to it. Truth is truth and the truth will set the world free.
Protesting against Israel's genocidal actions in Gaza and Lebanon is not the same as celebrating Hamas. You can be against Hamas and against persistent brutality of Israel towards Gaza. It's ridiculing a very valid point about Israel's wrong doing....
Multi-culturalism is definiately not working. And it doesn't work because there has to be a system of shared values upon which society behaves. You can't accept cultural relativity and have a functional society. There has to be a choice between one set of values and another. This choice is not optional. It has to be made. And we all know Western values are the best. All other value systems must be practised in people's houses, but society as a whole must operate in line with Western values. You only have 16 years to achieve this. it takes 15 years to entrench a culture in a society. Time is running out, and at some point it will be too late.
God bless and protect you Ayaan 🙏 ❤️.
Western Civilisation is the only one on Earth that actually cares about Human Rights, and this is being weaponised against it. Well said Ms Ali! Oh God, please wake the West UP!!!
Wow the gay man is against Judeo-Christian foundation of the West. I'm shocked
Thank you for this brave act
My gratitude to Ayaan for her determination to continue to speak out and the courage required to do so. Peace be with you 🙏

let´s wait until David converts from the influence of that "great unfaitfhul historian (TM dr. Johnson)" Gibbon to reality and he will get to convergence.
Nice and then the last 10 mins are creepy shit agenda junk... not good.
Here is Dr. Starkeys fatal flaw. The nuclear and extended family was always vital in Catholic England, reflecting Catholic doctrine. After the Tudors and Luther it was all downhill, accelerating right down to today's tyranny. Dr. Starkey may have personal reasons for wishing it were not so but Englishmen and women would do better today to follow its real patrimony. "Only men to whom the family is sacred will ever have a standard or a status by which to criticize the State. They alone can appeal to something more holy than the gods of the city."---G.K. Chesterton
Thank you Ayaan. I wish you could meet Mrs. Florence Bergeaud-Blackler a anthroplologist, working at the CNRS in France who wrote 3 books, the first one is 'Understanding Halal', the second one is 'The Halal market or the invention of a Tradition' and the third book is ' Frerism and its networks : the investigation'. This last book she wrote presents the Islamist movement that emerged from the internationalization of the Muslim Brotherhood movement as it developed in Europe. It explores in a factual and documented manner, the origin of the movement, its doctrinal foundation, its organization and its methods of operation, as well as its methods of recruitment and indoctrination. This Islamist movement is in the Western world since the sixties.
Thank you for sharing this info.
She is admirable and very inspiring. She has extraordinary courage, a strong intellect, solid moral compass and a beautiful human heart. Her voice needs to be heard!!!!!!!
Thanks for your bravery and wisdom. ❤ This is the kind of truths and facts that is so needed in the times we’re living through.
Ayaan is a courageous and wise soul-I pray our leaders pay attention to her voice and take action.
Our leaders are allowing all this. They are not on our side. They will take no notice of this even if they hear it. Something evil going on with them. They are doing NOTHING to control it.
I love her voice.
Liverpudlian found living in Whitechapel.
Is this a joke?
I love you but there’s nothing wrong with cultural Christianity; the west is not only Christian- I am a western Jew.
You look so happy now you have found Christianity!
😂😂 just see what happens in another 20 years. 😂😂
respect....
I'm so glad that Ayaan refuted the suggestion that we, in the West, have something to atone for. Atone for what? Combating slavery, when African kings, chiefs and elders, and the Muslim Ottomans still sought to practice slavery?
100%! I am a Black woman from South Africa, and I can tell you now, that if it wasn't for the Europeans, I would not know how to read and write! And I wouldn't be able to read the beautiful words of English novelists. I know how to be grateful, and I want to teach my fellow Black people to be grateful too.
The term is often carelessly applied, but not in her case: a heroine. And modest, as true heroes and heroines so often are. She should be lauded, universally. William Snowden. Ilkley. England.
Thank you so much for this very clear statement and defence of Christianity and the West and exposure of the folly of the western elites. As with most elite thought, they will not, at least initially, pay the price of their folly. Uptopias only exist in the minds of the elites but not in real life.
A prophet for our time.
Thank you Ayaan. My motherland The Netherlands made an unforgiveble mistake when they let you go. But the world definitely has won your clarity and morality.
I think Scattershott would be a better title for this whole series of curmudgeonly, nostalgic meanderings.
Maurice spot on, like the bit about bevin and about at las thte chruch/mosques don't think the free market created the world ,same as the comment on Scruton and Maurices family incluced his thinking on things same as his dedication to brexit
coming form the co-op wing knowing that you'd be buried as part of it and thatcher getting rid of Apprentahips as it sounds to much like socialists someothign Doreen from the Commons sergeant at arms use to say
Why is it that contemporary speakers and commentators are so unfamiliar with the English grammatical rule that - when it precedes a word beginning with a vowel (eg 'opera') - the Definite Article alters from 'thuh' to 'thee'. Thuh opera is ugly. Thee opera flows easily. We need to challenge this ugly development in the English language.
And many others, like the ignorance of past participles, of the use of the pluperfect, the proper cases of pronouns (for starters).
@@madamew3985 Thank you; and what has happened to the adverbial 'ly'. It is rarely used: exdept by those who were taught "proper"!
What a mighty man he is.
Unbelievable that ANYONE van think that the Conservative Party Leopard will ever change its spots.
Fiona Hill is a classical ivory tower entity. Knows nothing, dresses with no regard for the impression given, and with a basic set of assumptions that are, essentially, wrong. WRONG! She'll learn absolutely nothing from this discussion, and do less.
Dearest Ayaan, thank you for your clarity, for your capacity to educate, to expose and to redirect in a meaningful way. How can I assist in your task?
❤😇
Dr Starkey, we must differ. I believe Common Law has been the most successful experiment in the application of the jurisprudence of Moses' law, the Judeo-Christian tradition. It was anchored later in the Protestant interpretation of the relationship between the individual, church and society. Without Protestantism it would almost certainly have failed. It is Protestant Christianity that has allowed England to achieve an amazing balance between rights and responsibilities. Forgive me if I have misunderstood you but you seem to be trying to anchor our constitution in Greek thought without sufficient regard for Protestant Christianity. Thank you for your talk.
Yes, well expressed, although I find this particular lecture a bit too "posturing" - a demonstration of his very particular convoluted knowledge rather than a straightforward explanation of the subject matter.
