The other day, commenting on a forum with a friend the conversation at some point arrived in the Outkast and his clip "Hey Ya" and commented that the clip was not so original since he had seen something like that in a group of the 70s or something Of the type, I could not remember the name of the group at the time, but I knew the name of Musica and finally I found the Clip.

What a song! I love it! I love it dang by Axle Rose and i love it sang by Bob Dylan as well’
El hombre que respira sus sentimientos a través de una armónica, que casi nunca interpreta dos veces un tema del mismo modo, un merecido Premio Nóbel de Literatura. Descanse en paz Tom Petty, con quien muchos aprendieron a volar. Maravilloso video.
I still can't conceive how someone can write a song like this… “human beings not only eat meat and bread; there is something superhuman that attracts like a magnet: it is the art that in its eagerness of spiritual food the thought elevates us, ennobles the heart and is looking for the union both sad and happy people”.
RIP Matt!!
What guitar brand is Matt using?
Ibanez
Ibanez AR350T

A Blues Brother🚓💙
Exelent from Argentina
Year?
Should guess 80s/90s based on Tom Petty's rather youthful appearance (MHRIP), rather bad quality of video... well check out Dylan, petty heartbreakers Australia, 1986. Longer video on YT.
WHO are these assholes who gave this a thumbs down?
You rock our souls Mr. Matt "Guitar" Murhpy...RIP...Thank You!!!

45 segundos de tiro,sem recarregar !!
True students of blues in the USA are so spoilt for real music choice compared to people like me in South Africa. If it wasn't for UA-cam it would never have found great music like this. Bless Matt for their honest sound - very tight - I just love it.
Killer! ;)
ya boi matt got a floyd rose
SLICK ASS MATT MURPHY
December 27, 2016 : *Happy Birthday, Matt "Guitar" Murphy* - 87 today! Shared on G+
Love that tone!
Keep coming back to hear this! Even the Dude on the Acoustic does some SMOKIN Lead's!!! Great Stuff! Thanks Marcio!
All about heart and SOUL baby! I dont care what instrument you play, If your a musician and dont love this stuff, You need to Re-boot! I've been a lead guitar in several local bands in the 80's 90's We played mostly southern rock and classic rock back then, I love most music on the rock side (Not so much country, Disco,Pop) But there simply would not be any Hard rock like I grew up with and love from the 70's like the VERY under rated Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, Nugent, Even ZZ TOP (Which I loved back in the Rio gran Mud and Fandango LIVE days) THIS is what started it all People!
génial fantastique thankyou
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Legendary. Miss the likes of Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Sugar Blue, Willie Dixon. & Charlie Watts. This is music!
good music soothing thy soul
I had the privilege of being paired up with Matt for 9 holes of golf in about 1994 at Shula's Golf Club in Miami, having no idea who he was. It wasn't until after several holes did I learn I was playing with Matt Guitar Murphy from *THE* Blues Brothers. He was so humble and kind ... we had a great round of golf!
Wow, That's pretty damn cool! Would have loved that! Bet you went and watched BB again! Love Matts playin and the Blues Brothers. wish things had turned out different with Belushi. They probably would still have got together now and then. (Him and Dan and the Band)
I ran into Matt at the Coffee Pot in Roanoke VA. In the mid 1980's. He came up and shook my had and asked . . . "Are you staying for the show?" I didn't recognize him and said "Who's playing." "He said me! I'm Matt Guitar Murphy." He was so nice and personable. Wow!!! I realized a legend was asking me if I was going to stick around!!!! I did of course. And to this day treasure that chance meeting of a Blues Brother. God speed Matt! You rocked a 1936 dive bar and I was there to see it!

Matt “Guitar” Murphy: 12/29/1927 - Born in Sunflower, Mississippi, this renowned guitarist began his career in the blues as a member of Howlin’ Wolf’s band in the late 40′s. He would go on to work extensively with Memphis Slim and would also perform and record with Muddy Waters, Etta James, Chuck Berry, Otis Rush, and James Cotton. In 1978 he joined up with The Blues Brothers as lead guitarist and was featured in the classic 1980 comedy based on the band (and the slightly less classic sequel).
