@ I work entirely independent of Erik’s Curiosa and work directly with many artists within the game and beyond the game to promote and showcase their work and sell their original paintings, artist proofs, alters, prints, playmats, and more. Sometimes direct sale and often times via auction on my platforms.

@ the artists own the copyrights to their illustrations. Anyone can paint a card and sell it.

@@Barrager69 you really don’t like the art of the game? Atlas Thorn is really incredible; like stunningly so. But there is still a ton of great art in the game. I think you should also check out the artists’ portfolios outside of the game. Often time their best work is outside of the game. Really incredible stuff.

@@matthewwebb7702 no. All of the TC cards are included in the population numbers. Since it was recorded on UA-cam, I did a video ages ago where u documented everything they pulled and Aric included it in the spreadsheet.

@@thenicjman thank you. I agree some kinds of roadmap showing a plan for what we can look forward to in the next year (at minimum) or two would be great and give us something to look forward to. Timing is very unclear on Dragonlord and gothic. It would also be nice to know what Dragonlord is intended to do instead of keeping everything super secret like a surprise. Market and sell the idea, then deliver the idea, I say.

I think a bigger differentiator between alpha and beta and/or other means to protest alpha value would have been wise

I feel you I was in the same situation a few months ago. Singles are pretty cheap and many in the community are happy to ship cards :)

@@gudtimes6363 for sure, a bunch of the singles are pretty cheap, but the ones I actually need from beta are the ones that are a little bit of money. Locally our shops have about 10 packs of beta left. Most the shops don't want to carry the game, or have picked up little inventory and don't have any interest in running events. We have a small group of people who have picked up get together and put on events grassroots style at some one or two of the LGS who let us use the space. In the two drafts I've gotten to go to, the last one almost everyone ended giving all the AL bulk, but I need beta staples. We can get boxes of AL, but like they mentioned, its more built for limited and most the cards aren't that useful in constructed. At least not as many as in beta.

I'm someone who has cards but imo CTG's tend to balance too heavily in favor of collectors. For instance with Flesh and Blood I wonder how many people stopped collecting and playing because some important cards were just impossible to find. At least Sorcery doesn't have that problem in terms of rarity, as much (philosopher's stone though). But in terms of pricing it should also be doable.

@@lystic9392 you need a cheap base version for players and a collectible version. That's all. I think sorcery has done well so far with the base versions being reasonable priced while the foils demand a premium

@@lystic9392 I left FaB for almost 2 years. I recently went to the calling when it was in my town. I didn't play, but just wanted to go see how the state of the game was. I noticed pretty much all the staple cards had held their value, saw almost everyone who I had seen at the few armories I attended, and saw the 500 or so people having fun and loving the game and I had to jump back in, and have been glad I did. There are a few staple that are expensive, like C&C that make it hard to get into. At the time, the game was so new I didn't want to drop that much money, kinda like how Sorcery is now. The actual players of both communities are amazing, and seem to be constantly giving out bulk.

They have already said they wont do bordered cards.

They’ve said allot of things that have turned out not to be the case. The issue here is… what should they do for the game that is the correct decision… and are they going to do or not do something simply because they already promised something? Never stopped them before… I think they are seeing the price of alpha take a bath because those cards are virtually identical and that’s bad. If people want functional access to cards then they will need to do a reprint at some point… there’s nothing wrong with a reprint… when it is needed. Devaluing a CCG has the potential to harm the game and anger the existing collectors… why o why would they do such a thing after the last 3 months of feedback?
