My Haul from The Valley Forge Quilt Show
I am So happy for YOU!
Loveeet
The Featherweight Shop does beautiful work! The motor grease goes in the motor. Newer motors don't need us to mess with them (thank goodness).
I am soooo happy for you. Where did you purchase her. What is her name? Happy birthday
Beautiful room…
Fabulous space!! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Oh just open it already! 🤣 👏👏👏 Beautiful!
Oh just open it already! 🤣 Beautiful!
You are a lucky girl with great equipment , make it perform for you !!!
I once bought a bag of mother-of-pearl buttons, much smaller, and I enjoyed shortening them. Now each kind has its own little jar.
This is a piece of paradise. Love buttons, much more sea shell buttons.
That’s the numbers I use when playing bono lotto. The age of my nephews and niece plus mine. Or the day of birthdays.
The Singer is cute but I love all the old furniture around
Hi- I’m really interested in a block hanging on the wall of floss - it’s a spiky triangle that’s 2 shades of blue with a red outline of the triangle. Would you be able to share any info on the designer/pattern?
I bought my 22l in the seventies. Sewed all the time! Then I bought one with bells and whistles and let my aunt borrow my featherweight in '92 "to hem her slips". Well, time passed and I did not get it back and her house caught fire! Everything burned. My aunt escaped (great!) But my precious mint green featherweight did not!!
One of the best, watching and clapping. Very Good job well done.👏👏
Just beautiful
You said you have to look at your other one to see where that part goes on top of the featherweight. So what other one do you have? Is it the original black 221?
Did you get it by winning it on the featherweight faire that they have once a month on the first Tuesday of every month, I love the featherweight shop! I have four featherweights and one of them is white that I won on an online auction with an estate sale About a year ago!
Wow! You just came up on my feed and I am so happy! I, too, love quilting AND miniatures!!! This is a magnificent sewing studio. Thanks for sharing! 💕💕💕
I love it and im very happy you have the space. Have fun. My problem is if i owned it i would feel guilty if i wasnt in that room working at least 10 to 12 hours a day.
❤️❤️
So inspiring! What a beautiful space to create your amazing quilts.
I wish I could have spent the money filling my quilt studio, rather than having to build my studio. Yours is very beautiful and your work that I see is even lovelier. thank you for showing us
Where did you buy it from? Love the color!
Cuz I want one too for my 70 birthday.
I have always wanted one of those 😓
My husband bought it from the Featherweight Shop.
Thank you 😊
@@terrymatsusaki9032 Happy 70th Birthday 🥳
10 mins into a15 min video we finally see the machine. And you are still blocking the screen. Is this about you or the machine? Ridiculous. Camera is focused on you the whole time and not the sewing machine. What s joke. At no point do we see the machine close up without your face taking up the whole screen. Why make a video? Stand in front of the mirror all day.
I’m so happy for you.
Nicely outfitt3d!
What fun to see all the goodies. Inhad wondered why you had 3 Berninas and now I know their uses! You must make a ton of goodies. Thanks for sharing.
You have 3 machines and a serger in addition to the longarm. What are the 3 machines ?
Thanks for watching😊 The sewing machines are Bernina(s) 480, 570 and 770 (Tula Pink special edition). My favorite is the 570.
@kindergartenstitcher1447 thanks I watched your other video that gave more detail on machines. I was curious what the need for them as I didn't realize one was an embroidery machine. My sewing room is just 11 X 12 and I am trying to downsize! It is fun to see what others are doing, I envy your energy.
@@joycej9415 I’m fueled by caffeine 😂
@kindergartenstitcher1447 I used to be too, but with health issues, it doesn't perk me up like it used to! But slowing down can be enjoyable too. Another thing to love about quilting.
Congratulations -- it's SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!
No thanks to the dam Man that did all this work and custom painted effort. MGTOW
Wow! This is the most beautiful, organized, and functional; sewing room I’ve seen. This is how I would have done mine if I had the space. Great room!
I just stumbled upon your lovely video! I have my grandmother’s Featherweight 221. It’s a lighter shade of green than yours. I’m 62, so I think it was manufactured around the time I was born. I love it with all the enthusiasm you showed in your video! I hope you’re having a ball with her! 💕
Wow Wow Wow !!! I so Enjoyed this Video! So Happy to have ran on to it! Thank You for Sharing! Best Sewing Machine Ever! Enjoy! ❤😘BL from Ohio
great color!
Happy 50th!! And happy sewing!!
13!!!!!!!! I have 5! Cobgratulations!
Lovely! I'm sure you have been enjoying this little gem. I have a 221K and am teaching my 8yo granddaughter to sew and car for a machine. Mine is celery colored. Built in Scottland 1953... blew my mind at a garage sale not a scratch anywhere on her. Lady said it belonged to her grumpy MIL and was glad to get rid of it for ..... (wait for it...)... $25.00 in 2000. I did tell her it was worth WAY More. She chuckled at me and said 25 bucks or not at all.
How large is your she shed
Thank you for your question. My sewing studio is in my basement not a shed. I’ll measure my space later and share size😊
Happy Belated Birthday!!! What an amazing gift for your 50th!!! Thank you for sharing this with us 😊.
❤ I love your sewing room❤️. Such good inspiration! I love the small quilt pieces on your wall!!!!
Just lovely! Thanks for the peek!
The screwed on spool mount is where you grease the gear. The motor is on the right hand side at the back and base of the machine. You didn’t show us the foot control. I still have my 222k bought for me as a 14th birthday present. My mother went without to buy it for me. Still in excellent condition along with the box, after a busy life and subsequent exile to the attic. I had the foot control rewired to meet current UK electrical safety standards and got the timing sorted out. In the meantime had bought a fancy new machine when fixing my first one would have been sufficient to my current requirements.
It's so fun to see you unwrap her. It's funny that they wrap it up like it's Bisque china or Wedgewood crystal...when these little machines are some of the toughest in the business. Mine was "born" in 1938. 85 years young and still sews better than any other machine I have!
Just a little over the top. Cya
Good grief!!!
I have 13 of these and I couldn’t help but get excited watching YOU!!! LOL the love just never stops! She’s BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
Where did you buy it from?
Your room is wonderful. I also love that your are Bernina girl. I also have a room full of them. Some are as much as 30 years old. They still preform as well as the day I bought them.
I feel your excitement, 😃, very sweet machine.
