This was my first attempt at re-spooling 120 film onto a 620 spool. I used a Kodak Duaflex II camera to take these pics. I was so afraid the pictures would not turn out. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. These copies of the pics were taken with my cell phone, so there is some glare.

Belvidere illinois is fun city and alot too do
Lived here in the 90s, hated it, horrible place! Great video!
Nolo video????????????????!
Did you get any more recordings of.this building?
Yes, there is more, but I haven't got around to doing anymore. I have 5 hours of footage.
Nice!!! I really enjoy watching the bricks fall.
Ball and chain would have been much quicker and enjoyable
😀👍 to me the way that doing this that's way too slow that better off with a crane and a wrecking ball and have that whole wall torn down in no time hitting it with a wrecking ball thank you.
OMG whatever happened to the steel ball with a chain and the tire connected to it! Are these people being paid by the hour
What about the most useless machine for tearing down a building. Painfully slow.
Makes you want to take over for the crane operator and knock the wall down faster. Why is he pecking at it one brick at a time ?
Slow as molasses in January and I'm running at 2x speed!
wrong equipment and wrong operator. this is crazy on how slow this guy is. it's going to take for ever to get this building down at this rate. got to be getting payed by the hour, not the job.
?? Why are they using a portable crane??? Don’t they use them to build things?
I'm pretty sure the building was owned by the city? All that money being thrown away
When you look at that you can sleep
First time I have ever seen a mobile crane, being used for actual demolition.
Is this the third year of the demo?
No. Just 3rd video. Same day.
Even at double speed it's slow....
The building was only 50 years old when they started to demolish it 😀
Is it slow motion??? 🤔
Painful to watch
nul a chier et lui qui parle au début de la vidéo ferme ta gueule
I was clean shaven when I started watching this I've got a full beard now.
Pourquoi utiliser une grue télescopique pour faire de la démolition ? Très lent, peu maniable, cette engin n'est vraiment pas adapté à ce genre de travail. 🤔🤔
I was on the edge of my seat
I would say he is killing time
Why is he so slow. Probably will have 10 parts. Must be paying him by the hour. Like watching paint dry.
If that is very unstable they have to take their time. I've seen things go very badly wrong in demolition where people have been killed.
i am pretty sure this is a very safe way of doing this, but it sure is a slow way of doing it.
Man that's going to take years at that rate. Just push the shit over geez
sure do not understand this technique! Unless you are getting paid by the hour! ;-)
Another painful video watching some twat trying to knock a building down. How the hell is this person employed. Pulling my nails out with a screwdriver would be less painful
If that's was me I be pulling down why he not you a digger why he using that forklift looking thing
It's going to take 120 years, to knock it down !
looks stupid and not professional demolition with telescopic crane so much good stuff is sold to demolish this kind of work safely and quickly but apparently they are still in the Middle Ages
He will never complete it in his working life.
How did that song go by Jonny Cash..i got it 1 brick atta time..FFS thats this ops song...
guy up on the lift with fire hose ,,, are you insane?
The slowest demolition I have ever seen.
Makes me embarrassed to be a heavy equipment operator. Horrible abuse on what’s clearly the wrong piece of machinery for the job at hand.
Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to jump off a cliff so they can’t reproduce wtf
He actually finished in about 3 weeks! He went slow for safety reasons.
man schlaeft ganz schnell ein!!!!!
I take it this is the owner himself doing the job to save money! A professional wrecking company would use a clam- shell grab on the end of a liebherr crane. This is akin to painting the side of your house with a 1 inch brush!
I know - he has 90 days before retirement
What is the implement on the end of the boom? I've seen hydraulic claws, clamshells, and jackhammers, but his is something I've never seen. Sometimes it looks like there's some sort of grinder on the far side from all the dust being created.
Never understood why anyone charged with demo work would start at the top. Isn't everything held up by the bottom? A few well placed blows would save this fool several days of work.
Wrecking a building with a hydraulic crane is like painting with a spoon.
This is about as exciting as watching paint dry !
lolol its very slow isnt it !!!
it is going take them 120 years to tear it down
3 stooges demolition company hey moe where curly up here
WTF is the demo contractor doing using a 0.5 million pound/dollar crane?! I would initially suggest "lowest bidder" but not with that bit of plant!! Unbelievable!
