What did you get your masters degree on? As a comm student who’s unsure of what I’m doing I really wanna know

I started my business communication bachelor degree and am an introvert, so I'm confused with my career path. I hate communicating or spending time with people... Did I chose the wrong major? Ps- chose this major due to a scholarship

I’m majoring in communications and I consider myself a bit of an introvert but I’m a very strong writer and I have done performances for guitar where I have sang and played in front of crowds and throughout my education so far I’ve really become a stronger communicator and I’ve really noticed an improvement in just one semester I’ve gotten some of the same comments as people don’t think I’m capable enough to fulfill the necessary requirements but it’s a really fun and good way to connect with people and discover things about yourself

oh my gosh, I haven't related so much in my life. lol I JUST switched from a Sociology major to Communications, and im super excited about it. I told a few people, and they keep asking me what I want to do with this major and I am like, "I have no idea! But! it seems pretty legit and I think this is my calling. So we shall see!" haha glad i'm not the only one that gets asked those questions all the time too.

Many introverts do well when giving speeches or oral presentations in class, but outside of class, they keep to themselves and don't talk that much. One's performance in class does not depend on whether he or she is introverted outside of class. By the way, have you heard of Toastmasters? It is an organization that helps people develop their public speaking or leadership skills. I thought you might be interested since you like the study of communication.

I was pretty surprise when half my class were introverts in my Comm Class, including myself! I thought I choose the wrong major, but I love it now.

All Asians are introverts. Thats just how they are. Ive never seen an extroverted Asian before. They are usually very shy and standoffish. I went to college with hundreds of Asians and they were all the same. Some are pretty cool though once they warm up to you.

This I can relate to in an extent. I'm what you call an extroverted introvert. Now I can be outgoing, yet I desperately need my alone time.

I'm doing a bachelor's degree on animation at the moment but I'm going to change to digital photography. Though I've always been interested in languages and media. It's difficult when you have various interests.

I majored in communications and am an extreme introvert. It ended up working out and I got crazy looks from everyone when I admitted that

It's so upsetting when people confuse being introverted for being shy... honestly I think being introverted give ms you an advantage because usually introverted people spend more time listening and observing other people communicating so we notice things that other people don't and that's super useful as communication major!

Most communications people are introverts. If you want to party and have a social life don't major in communications. I am an ambivert (50% introvert, 50% extrovert) and never worked in communications because I wanted to have a social life which a career in communications wouldn't allow me to have.
