Restore Your Old Vinyl Seats
Watch as I take an old vinyl bench seat and breath new life into it. I show you how to restore and soften the vinyl quickly and for cheap. The secret is just elbow grease and common mineral oil. It's simple to use, and will really help rejuvenate your vinyl.
I ended up not using the Mother's VLR, but I have used it recently on another rubber product and it seems to work great. To be fair, there probably isn't a Mother's product I wouldn't recommend though.

Light coating of grease on the hubs is fine. I typically do that everytime so it's easier to remove in the future for maintenance or brake work. Alternatively you could just use gear oil lube and just coat everything. It's not going to hurt a thing. I've taken apart some very rusty corroded hubs so assembling dry makes zero sense to me.

In some pictures, like those supplied by USA Standard on the Amazon site, the locker looks to be a dark almost black metal. For a second, one view in your video also appeared to show a dark metal. I wonder if the bolts to mount the bracket could be glued/spot welded in place so don't have to get a d@mn wrench in there to help tighten.
