    Maintenance to prevent this from happening: When done doing laundry, take dispenser out, dump any remaining water and sit on top of washer if possible so the dispenser housing and the dispenser itself can dry out between using your machine..... when doing laundry, don't overload...don't use too much or too little soap and do occasional HOT washes... don't do cold washes only.... occsaionally wipe the seal once a month or so...and leave the door slightly opened like 1/2 inch when not being used. Your machine won't smell unless something is going on with your water supply or something.

    • @ovationhomerenovation
      @ovationhomerenovation 2 місяці тому

      Hey there ... so yes and no. Most of the pieces were pre-cut, but in order to get the right lengths and widths I needed along the walls and in the corners, I/you NEED to do some cutting. Makes the process a little tedious but with multiple hands, you can get it done faster. I did not have that many hands in this instance but I got it done nonetheless. Thank you for the comment. Have any other questions?

    I think it's ok to encourage people to try to help themselves but the number of things that can go wrong beyond this video from bad contactors, breakers, clogged condensate lines, frozen coils from low refrigerant or dirty filters and so on. Sure, the capacitor can be a reason but 'knowing what you're doing' is part of why the electrician or HVAC tech exists.

      I will put out another vid ... but I don't see anything that would lead me to refrigerant ..... nothing is frozen on the lines etc. etc. So you may be onto something there with the capacitor. I have one here, let's see.

      I think it comes down to heating and cooling in 4 season climates. In areas where it is cooler, there is more insulation and a different set of materials ... likewise in the warmer, the ways to build are different. Mind you, these builders are not based in the US.

    Shut the main ball valve off to water heater. If its a old gate valve turn it easily. Then unsrew the hot water supply side because its outlet is typically at the top of the tank. Then you will have to keep your hose held or in good area but open the main valve to blow out any sediment then close it and it should drain better. 🤙
