Hi I’m Clifford, and I'm the founder of Ovation Home Renovation. I am looking to share my knowledge on construction & DIY, the projects I do for others and myself, and even my passion for photography, drones photography, and everything in between building and fun.
DIY is fun, a little daunting sometimes but when you are done, finally done, you can confidently say “ I did THIS, and WOW it looks SEXY or *bleeping* GOOD.
Everything I use is from home stores, dealers or wholesalers in and around the DMV area or across the inter-webs.

From the files of @ovationhomerenovation, we bring you the lost update that should have reached you days ago. I talk a little about the beginnings of this project. Some of the topics considered before we took it on … the style we pulled out of the client and also some of the finishing touches we improvised with. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Yes, this is nasty business!

Well it could her nastier and it sure did. We at@ovationhomerenovation had to try a few iterations of assembling this drain. In the end, I replaced everything coming out of the wall connecting to the sink drain. I think it was worth it besides the trips to the saw 🥵

@@user-li2rs9zm9o true but daughter 😂
I think I need to get her some nails though 😂
This is awesome
@@abenaadugyahemaa8691 waiting for you to bring the crew to build.
such a joy when your children want to be around you. wont trade it for the world!
I know right?! Will build these cabinets together
Ummm, I would not call en electrician, I'd call an hvac person.
I think it's ok to encourage people to try to help themselves but the number of things that can go wrong beyond this video from bad contactors, breakers, clogged condensate lines, frozen coils from low refrigerant or dirty filters and so on. Sure, the capacitor can be a reason but 'knowing what you're doing' is part of why the electrician or HVAC tech exists.
First most electricians will not know anything about your A/C. Yeah go ahead and get in there, then after you f it up, give me a call.
Thanks for your 2 cents. Yeah should have said hvac guys 😂😂
Disclaimer. Don’t touch this if you don’t know what you’re doing. Proceeds to demonstrate he has almost zero knowledge about HVAC
Maybe a bad capacitor? Or out of refrigerant?
I will put out another vid ... but I don't see anything that would lead me to refrigerant ..... nothing is frozen on the lines etc. etc. So you may be onto something there with the capacitor. I have one here, let's see.
Art always creative with excuses
I like the way you think!
Yo Cliff A.! What's good bro!
Doing great. How are you?
That's cool and all but why are Americans still building paperhouses
I think it comes down to heating and cooling in 4 season climates. In areas where it is cooler, there is more insulation and a different set of materials ... likewise in the warmer, the ways to build are different. Mind you, these builders are not based in the US.
You are absolutely right ❤🎉
Thank you man! If we all do a little we will collectively more in leaps and bounds.
absolutely incredible!
I know right!! Their mental fortitude is on point!
👍
Thanks
Hello. My friend Brasil
Hello, How are you?
I’m going to get it because I trust your taste in books 🎉😂
I'd say get both, and when you're done with that, get BOSS Moves. Hit me up when you're ready.
☀️ *promo sm*
Promo SM?
🤣 the frustration is real!
Haha I tell you!!
Definatly won't explode but good way to scare the shit out of people lol
Can’t go against what I read… that’s what the warranty folks said and the ECO Limit Lockout research I did. Maybe they lied? 😮
Shut the main ball valve off to water heater. If its a old gate valve turn it easily. Then unsrew the hot water supply side because its outlet is typically at the top of the tank. Then you will have to keep your hose held or in good area but open the main valve to blow out any sediment then close it and it should drain better. 🤙
Too bad I can’t respond with a video. It would’ve got a whole lot of detail. Anyway, thank you for the detailed steps my man/woman. I appreciate it a lot. I’ll have another go at it when the control unit gets here. Need a shorter hose too 😅
Sedimaent is the devil! Open a hose bibe or faucet somewhere. Invest in a transfer pump. Mine drains a 50 gal tank in about 8 min-10 min tops.
That’s exactly what I did. Minus the pump tho😮. Apparently I missed a pressure valve or something? Thanks for the comment, I’ll have another go at out when I get the gas control unit.
Open the blowoff the water might be air locked, I always open airlock when I drain heaters I never use a pump because I don’t have one on me
Thank you Jake I’ll fiddle around with this some more. That part comes in tomorrow so I’ll definitely keep you guys updated. Thank you.
how did it turn out?
It turned out very nicely ... need the after to match this before ... will try to find the videos if they are in the archive.
Clearly an amateur, drain a whole tank with that long garden hose. Of course the flow sucks. Use a transfer pump or do it with tank full.
You have to use what's available to you in the moment.
Yep transfer pump would do it in less than 10 min
Not fun to not have hot water!
Nope it definitely isn't. Feels like something essential is off!
U know you can change them suckers with the tank full, just need a small bucket, ready with the new one and fast, cut valve off on top it will help create a vacuum, some will still come out, but not alot
Appreciate it. That's what happened with the professional and we are here again 2 weeks later.
Yo, my long time brotha from anotha motha. I just subscribed
Woohoo. Tunde how’ve you been bro? Thanks for the sub big time 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Let me know if you gravitate to anything I’ve posted yet and in the future too.
Congratulations!
Thank you Honey! You're definitely coming along for this ride.
Are you getting your internet connection from Ghana? lol
HAHAHA .. You know this time I might have tapped into it. I switched FAST!
Great job, my brother. Keep it coming. I have the same issue, so this summer, I couldn't water my backyard 🙃. But mine is buried in the drywall in the basement bathroom. 😞
Thank you @agyenapiah573! Poor backyard Definitely reach out. As long as that line can be traced, it can be tackled. Wait, it is not behind tile though, is it? That is the key this: Once you can see it, it can (almost) always be modified. Now that is the fun part.
Kind of insane right? Imagine if all this work went to a plumber? It's great to be a handyman.
It's the best thing in the world ... seeing a customer's plan come together is absolutely amazing.
Wow thanks for the insite👌🏾
Definitely! Let us know if you ever have any questions.
Hello Cliff, love the video. The quality and editing are awesome. The only problem I experienced is the projection of your voice which could be a microphone problem. Please try and project your voice or change the mic for phase 2 and new videos. So far, I like it so if you see me knocking on your door for classes, don't be surprised.
Oh wow @AA-cy8ja, I appreciate the comment! Definitely hit us up. I will consider teaching a class or have a Q&A/ YT live just to ge some more face time. Sorry about the audio issue. Yeah the mic I had wasn’t the best, anytime I moved my head the audio seemed to shift. I till try to enhance the audio for this vid but I'll definitely pay more attention to Phase 2. Actually, thinking about it, do you have any recommendations for good wireless lav mics?
They make bits for tile.
Indeed they do, this was a bit for tile, stone, concrete and something sifter ... wood maybe, I don't remember now.
Try diamond whole saw bits to get through the tile. They are made in different sizes from 1/4inch up to 1-1/2.
These are the kind that need to be brought to full speed before it touches the tile, right? Don't yours skate all over the tile that way?
Those bits are single use no just buy new ones
Does that depend on how they are used or the type of tile you drill into first? I'd sure this bit in particular has served more than 1 job before this. This was one of the Milwaukee masonry bits.
@@ovationhomerenovation if I remember correctly there not meant to be used on more than one job but I guess if you cool them down you can use them twice
Such observations are hectic. Calls for some full plumbing operations!!!
You're telling me?! It was something else!
I think I'll just call Ovation Home Renovation to help me if i get a clog, cos i cant do this lol.
Hahaha Ok I'll have to take your number and save it in the must-show pile! We are here to serve.
I cannot begin to imagine the headache it is to unclog that toilet!
It was ... eye opening, to say the least. Once the right item is lodged, it is better to throw the whole thing out ... and burn it!!
U for speak loud a bit. Voice be too low
Thank you for the heads up ... It did not play that way on my end but I will check the full timeline. Thank you for the notice!

What happened to your sound or there is none?
Absolutely right...the sound did not attach properly. I will have to redo this one, Please stand by patiently.
Bro! Them screws be bugging - I feel I bro! Great work
I don't know why they are still used in the industry to be honest!
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thank you, Thank you. Moving forward.
Do like the daaleks and exterminate!!!
Let's go!
Woohoo ... a plumber needs to check that drain backing up though
I also had a problem with masterpiuma 5, it was new, braking bar which support tile from below wasn't in level, so cutter was unusable. It was factory malfunction. I have complained to Montolit and they have sent me new machine, works great now.
That's awesome. What is the size of your P5? How are you dealing with the storage now?
Happy birthday Clifford. Wishing you good health, long life, and prosperity in every area of your life. May God bless you and grant all your wishes according to His perfect will for your life. Stay abundantly blessed 🎉🎉🎉🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thank you for the kind words!
