❤ this idea - like visualizing who you want to be that would accomplish or achieve all those rewarding things on the vision board. Sounds like crafting and scheduling your new identity. Rather than just the rewards you hope it brings? And like the idea of doing a desktop background. I did one of my husband and I visiting my fave state while I was pregnant with our 1st. Now, a few years later, we are raising our family here in the same town that pic was taken in year-round.

This is all new to me and I’m excited about implementing this plan in January!! So how do I prototype receiving a large sum of money then act it out???? I can don't in my mind , have for years. I even go to the store and carelessly put things in my cart I need or would like to have then I realize it is not in the budget. So step 2 I have no way of completing. Because goals are a house, a vehicle, mt own business (entrepreneurship)?. Health and fitness also will fall into this as having the purchase power to buy things that are healthy to eat, perhaps a gym membership or my own exercise equipment.... back to finances???
Hi! Are you able to break down those goals into smaller goals or chunks? For example some daily or weekly actions you can take? Those are what you then start to prototype to see if they work for you 🙂

@@bodybrainalliance do you have suggestions on doing this a a journal? I'm new to all of this.
This is by no means exhaustive or how we think you 'should' do it - just some ideas to get you going: You could print out the images or cut them out of magazines and glue them into a double page spread. Then you could journal on who you're becoming each day/week and how you've inched a bit closer to that version of yourself and add printed pics from your life as you go. Or you could have a section of pages for each part of who you're becoming - for example if your future self goes for a daily walk, you could have one page with found images of walks and then add your own pictures on the opposite page, and you could journal/add your thoughts on subsequent pages. Hope this helps a bit!
I have been writing and recording videos for youtube for the past 11 months.( documenting my experiences of divorce to single motherhood getting out of an abusive marriage) I have gotten behind and now I need to record 18 of these. I'm over whelmed. I'm trying to decided if in my" satisfied " area I should just record some with voice only and not my face because that would be 10x easier with my busy mom life schedule. Its a dance I've been doing with myself to try to heal but also document this very hard time in our lives. I'm looking at my lists now, trying to decide if my children will be okay some day seeing these videos in my voice and words only. I think they will, they have even told me they will. As in, "mama, these letters your writing us will be perfect to us no matter if you think they are or not". Its just me being hard on myself, part of the healing processes, I'm sure. Nonetheless, I've felt overwhelmed the past few days. In conclusion, this helped and I'll look into your Change Academy. Thank you😊

When doing a long and difficult task (aka project?) how do you manage your focus, and well how to get back to doing a task (task re-initiation)? f.e. I can get started on a task, use pomodoro to take breaks regularly, but my issue seems to be task re-initiation (especially if the task is long, and there hasn't been any significant progress), and sometimes when I do manage to re-initiate my mind will not focus on the task properly (more distracted, takes more effort to do the task).
Hi! We have a few questions for you: Alongside your breaks, do you (re) fuel yourself too? How well do you stay hydrated? Do you get good quality sleep? Focus is a condition of the brain and since it's an organ, your physical condition will impact how well it can maintain focus. If those are not an issue, you mention that re-initiation is a challenge especially with long tasks - have you tried breaking those tasks up into smaller chunks? If that feels hard to do, can you break the task into time-based chunks instead, eg "work on xx task for 25 minutes/1 pomodoro window)?
The things I procrastinate most I set them as goals and never do them. The things I love I never set them as goals. And in case I do , I never do them too. Same for systems. 😢

Firstly, what does "functioning" mean? Do you have any revenue or sales numbers in mind that you can use? In terms of breaking this down into smaller chunks, is there a sequence to what you have to do to build this store? Can you break that down into weekly tasks to be achieved?
Do we add the happened pictures to the becoming board as the occur throughout the year? Ive created vision boards for my career and for my personal life ,two boards, for the last 15 plus years but I never thought to add a picture of that thing having "become" during the year. That's so cool!
Yes you can do that or keep a separate folder where you save them to!
