The moment I turn it on, it lights up the whole area and makes it come alive! Definitely bright enough, but we're using warm colour for it and for ambient only, so do take note if you need it for ambient only or etc, as long time under warm lighting might not be too comfortable for eyes. For our case, we have the Ceiling Fan light+Dining Light + Track Light that are in Tri-Colours we can switch to White or cool lighting. :) I'd say the cove lights in warm colour gives off a very cosy yet bright feel if you're going for that direction :)
