Stumbled upon this as somebody who's doing all achievements and only has PvP left. The reason it's the only thing I have left is because it is so unbelievably bad that it's impressive that it made it past testing... oh wait this game doesn't have testing. By far the worst part of the game, nothing else even comes remotely close. If 3k Frontline wins were a requirement to get released from jail, crime would end.

The netcode is extremely bad. Its only real benefit is slidecasting and cheesing PvE content that your not normally meant to.

Totally agree on the CC needs 5min Hard Stop, Its freaking annoying having work so hard pushing the crystal to 85% but due overtime and long respawn time it takes longer for the winning team to regroup as the distance the need to run is far hence allowing the losing team to steamroll the winning team and just need to push 85.1% to win. Which is make Pushing that 85% feels like a lost effort, This is why i HATE ffxiv CC to the core.

Mahjong and solo deep dungeon are both hard content, but you are absolutely right that the other is much more pressuring, difficult in terms of exacution and takes more time and that is Mahjong

Potd is more efficient then msq ... level 80+ in msq yields less then 500k exp pee segment ... just an update since this vid is old and just a tad outdated .. but not enough to make it useless .. still very useful

It's not bad imo, but MAN square seems driven to actively keep you OUT of it. The rewards are weighted so heavily for casual play. Do your daily, maybe grind cc if you took a break, then don't touch it again for 4 months. No gil, basically no tomestones, and while you get some nice titles for it, it takes years to get through that grind for a relatively small amount of AP.

PvP in FFXIV is bad overall. The Gameplay for PvP is way to slow. Targeting enemy's via TAB especially in Frontliens takes forever. 1 on 1 duels are also taking forever, because they removed PvE bursts out of PvP. In the past i've sneaked up to my enemys with my Ninja and then bursted them down. Since they removed that PvP feels even slower and you have a hard time to take down a Healer alone. CC are nice but due to the long GCD and the Server Ticks, stuns for 2 or 3 seconds are nothing. There are also a lot of Script/Plugin Users in PvP. Auto CC, Auto Heal, Auto Shield, Auto LB when a kill ia guaranteed etc. You can tell when you see a player stunning or transforming you asap out of the blue when you're about to use a LB. This also makes PvP even more unattractive for competetive Players.

Thanks for the video! I'm leveling a tank now, still level 25 haha but I'm already struggling a bit. Its' nice to tank in this game, but the thing is I need to get used to the mitigations, because I comes from games where mitigations where more "spammable", here they are few seconds and the recast is like minutes. It's not necessarely a bad thing, on the contrary I think it could be more intriguing like this, because you can think of a strategy while you are leveling and it's not just spam some buttons, I just need to get use to it.

Please keep thinking recuperate is op and keep spamming it and guard whenever. I want more free kills.❤

CC is trash. Frontlines is trash too. Loaded with cheaters and terrible design decisions. The lesson here is, if you want to do PvP, play other games.

FFXIV massive delay makes pvp almost unplayable, u can press guard and still die 1-2 sec after because the ability will go through O_O same with healing and cc removal. Do it for lvl 25 series reward and leave till next season rewards arrive.

I've played since 2.5 but i take frequent breaks betweem patches and I've spent approx £650, about 180 of that is my sub, 200 for the game, 130 on the mogstation, and the remaining 150 on irl merch

I just did a sweep of all my purchases across 10 years...I'm easily at $10,620 lmao I hate myself. the sub alone was $2200 over 10 years because I pay 25/mo cuz i have retainers xD that's for buying the game on ps4, all collector's edition on PC - 2 of which are physical collector's editions, figurine of Ultima/emote, the pizza emote during the event as well as the mount from the butterfingers event, various random purchases of my fantasia addiction, server transfers, alt name changes because I was too lazy to delete it and start over, character boosts, all mounts, all emotes, subs and random figurines from the online store like ardbert/g'raha, books, cookbook, etc etc. Do I regret it? No. Because I am having fun and honestly I spent way more playing gw2 in 10 years and their garbage fomo tactics before finally ditching that game.

My definition of Whaling = Unnecessary expenditure on things that do either give you power, or a lot of fashion, that should be put in the game by non IRL currency. (all in game) In my personal opinion, You are a borderline Dolphin, and even then, I'm exaggerating. For me, non-deluxe versions of a game and subscriptions do not count towards being a Whale, since that is a necessary expense in order to play the game. I also do not count events like the convention, unless it's a super deluxe pass. This can be argued towards being an unnecessary expenditure, I do not count it since it is a traveling expense, and traveling is its own reward by itself, and it is a way to connect socially with friends and community members. This would be the equivalent of consider going to the theater, or a concert or to a Bar as "Whaling". What I do count: -MOGstation items -Deluxe edition versions of a game / Expansion -Collaboration merch (there is an argument to not count this) For the record, I only played the game for around maybe less than 6 months, years ago and only "unnecessary expenditure" I made was the Fenrir.

I don't play XIV anymore, so my numbers would be bigger if I still did I think I've spent a total of ~$300 - $450 in subs, items and expansions, I don't regret most of it, like you there are some mog items I regret buying but in general I think it was money that gave me a valuable entertainment.

25:31 -- AS a holder of that title, I can agree it is worth the mention. It is by FAR my RAREST title....and I have like 350 titles. Back in 2020, I placed 5th In Leather Working discipline in a contest. It was the most insane grind I ever did in one week. That was a hell of a 9 days I put in. The stupid thing is that I started the grind on goldsmithing, then on day #2 I realized LW was at much lower numbers of pts, so I took a gamble, and projected the class to finish in the lower pts totals. My gamble paid off, and I got top 5. The day after the contest ended, I got a mail from the GM's with the titles in them as attachments(items sent in letters). It was the most satisfying thing I ever did in the Game....until I got the Pteronodon this year. The Skill Ceiling for that contest was so freaking high. Remember, this was back when gear was like level 480 or something, and my best pentamelds barely gave me a fighting chance to clear 20 makes per hour. I go into a groove at 10,000 pts or so per hour of crafting, and finished in a reasonable amount of time. But damned if I didn't feel for my Friend Aeilen. She made the mistake of going for Miner and spent like 100+ hours grinding that class over all 10 days, just to get 3rd. She was trying to win her class, and wound up with over 600K skyward pts.

2:30 -- Oh give me a BREAK... Ashes of Creation is not going to launch until 2026 at the BEST. It's still in the middle stages of testing and development. I just bought a 40 GB RAM , 5.9 GHZ computer with an NVIDA graphics card with 12 GB visual mem. in anticipation of that MMORPG, and It's not even CLOSE to launch. How the hell have you even played the game? Were you , or someone you know, an Alpha Tester? You Know they're barely on the 2.0 Alpha this winter right?

Guildwars 2 WvW/PvP is the worst because it has pathetic concepts and class balance on top of the cheating.

I have no problems making kills. Its the cheating for me. Crystalline Conflict is jam packed with organized win trading. Its completely controlled by discord cliques that use exploits and win trade. Making it impossible for legit players to progress. Its a total hack. No pun.

I have been playing ranked for the past week. I never win. And when I loose. It is because I am literally the only one left alive and am constantly being wailed on by 4 players. In some cases. we still loose when I have 3 people killing me with no team mates near by and the other team literally had 2 people pushing the crystal. Where are my team and what are they doing while 3 people are killing me? Also, it doesn't help that they nerfed RDM so much into the gutter that a double debuffed full Black DPS combo and LB is still not enough to kill someone on your own. RDM is literally incapable of killing any one solo. And it is a DPS job. SAM, MCH, BLM, etc. Every job is capable of killing any job solo with their burst and. But RDM has been nerfed to where we have no burst, no CCs except s silence on a super long cool down that last 1 second on a GCD (FUCKING MAKE IT AN OGCD SO WE CAN AT LEAST GET ONE ATTACK IN WHILE IT IS UP) and have a large come kill me circle on at all times because we need to make sure that everyone knows where the RDM is.

Imagine complaining about healing in pvp while playing whm, no one wants pre mades in pvp apart from sweat lords
