    The defense you're showing is not how a 6-3 is run. The guy who devised the 6-3 is a Double Wing guy and it is designed to handle most youth league offenses and can be used at the High School level. The Ends "Squat" and force you to spill the play outside where the linbackers and corners kill the play or utilize the sideline as an extra defender. The interior linemen are not in gaps, the line up headup on the guards and tackles which force you to Double team them by your blocking rules and you won't be pulling your guards.

      @@LJProductions247 he opens to motion so it’s a reverse pivot. My line is told not to touch the DE. As soon as the QB spins he IMMEDIATELY stares down the DE. He has more time cuz of how far back my FB is at 7 yds deep. Most veer or triple option offenses use a close dive back. Youth offenses are a bit slower than varsity or college offenses so his depth is the key. It gives the DE a long look at the FB as he starts his downhill run shoulders square to the line. As he meshes with the QB the QBs eyes are on the DE. if he crashes which he usually does 95% of the time. It’s an automatic keep. The pitch man stays in pitch distance to dump it off to the wing if he’s in trouble. If ur QB can run. It’s nasty to try and stop.

      @LJProductions247 Місяць тому

      @ you are the first coach I have found who does triple option under center in double wing. Or your the only coach actually showing how to do so. I thank you very much. The fundamentals of wishbone are simple as hell “get your best athletes the ball in space” Mike leach credited wishbone to his creation of the air raid. So my thought process is to add some of that into the fundamentals of double wing. I am in no way trying to argue one’s better than the other I am simply trying to be a chef and I am taking ingredients from other offenses and I’m adding them to the simplistic double wing. Triple option eliminates two defenders by making them think. A defender who has to make decisions while also deciphering pulls counters and miss direction is so much! Your veer video out of DW is amazing I thank you and my goodness am I excited to transition my team into a double wing. Looking at the double wing from a wishbone/Flexbone perspective will do nothing but make that double wing better. Again thank you coach.

      @ yeah I found that fooling the right defensive end was the KEY to opening up the outside for me. DEs would squeeze power and get real jumpy with how much misdirection there was. My FB usually kicks out the DE. so when lining my FB up in DEEP the DE gets a free run at the FB. and tackles him without the ball almost 80-90% of the time. The veer option from the DW literally won me a championship cuz the team we were playing had no clue how to stop it and our fakes were repped enough that they looked legitimately like the fb Has the ball.

      @ yessir. The GOOD GOD system was designed by him as a way to have a moving POA and to be able to adjust to different fronts on the fly. And it’s SPECIFICALLY geared to the doublewing. Which has a FOUR person blocking playside on whichever side you run to. Unless the wing is carrying out a different assignment. When he’s not you have four blockers on playside. You pull two and the QB tosses and leads. So if you include the center. You have essentially 9 people blocking on playside. Extremely hard to stop.

Watch my videos and highlights. These are mostly 10-13 yo’s and they are carrying out intricate blocking schemes for this level of ball. • @Outlawv21992
      @Outlawv21992 Місяць тому

      Hey coach this is my other account. I have a few plays that use false pulls and designed QB keeps away from pullers. Also my read option series of plays i typically run from a formation called "DEEP" doesn't use pullers but is instead, a DE trap play. Additionally wedge we don't pull, nor do we on pass plays outside of my kids pulling and then turning back to pass block. So we're not pullings on 100% of our plays, so that makes it slightly harder to key JUST pullers. Now what I instruct my teams specifically to do is to simply "out-hustle" anyone that flows towards our POA. My offense knows the play and the defense does not, so I expect my kids who pull to get to where they need to be PRIOR to anyone that has read my pullers and then made their first step. Cause MOST of the time if my pullers get to where they need to be, and the double teams setup on the playside like they should. I DEMAND we get 3-4 yards per carry. A team that flows to my POA reading pullers will slow me down. But they won't stop me from getting 4-5 yards a carry. And with reading pullers it also really depends on how old the kids are. Success at pulling that off at any age less than like 12U is unlikely. Possible but not the norm. So in short during a game I do a lot of different things, pull, no pull, motion, no motion, pullers going one way and ball carriers going another, read option, quick shifts, the nearly unstoppable wedge, and I STILL have a few legitimate NASTY deep Play action bombs if I feel a defense is crowding me with the corners, and safeties/LB's.... When they don't respect my ability to throw, I will throw a bomb on them. But I usually don't need to cause teams play me honest.
