Sounds like leftover tracks from death magnetic. Some decent riffs, but sound scotchtaped together. Death magnetic sounded like rejuvenated primo old school metallica. Beyond mag songs could have fit on reload. The judas kiss and broken beat and scarred are vintage oldie metallica sponge worthy.after listening to this, I aint needing to give it a whirl again. Its not bad, just not good either.

Just A Bullet Away is the strongest IMO. Hate Train has some cool riffs, it's been a while since I've listened, can't remember the last 2 all that well. Will report back after listening

Huge Metallica fan here. 1st song was "Whiplash" My old buddy was jamming it out. I loved Metallica and Metal since that very day. I believe i was 10. My thoughts are. Jason's Bass was so loud on this recording. Thats fine. But it killed Lars kicks you can tell if you are a drummer, And you can hear it. When they mixed "Justice" Lars didn't want his kicks drowned out in the low end with the Bass mix. Makes sense if you think about it. Never the less. Both are killer albums. 🤘🤘
