Hi! Is it possible to know what type of laptop can you fit in? I have a Dell XPS 15”, but in reality is like a 15.6”. I’m really interested and it’s hard to find a backpack for my laptop. Great video and Thank you!!!
Hi there! Thanks for the comment. Both of my laptops are under 13”. The laptop compartment is pretty tight so I’m not sure anything even a bit over 15” would fit. If you can try it out in person that might be the best bet.
Hi there! Does the color of the backpack rub off on light color clothes, especially when it's wet (rain)? Also, have you noticed it fading into a red-ish color in some spots from sun exposure?

Loved your video!! My top suggestion: Tom Bibn. Made in the USA in Seattle. Very durable. Suspended sleeve. All the things you want.
Thanks for the suggestion! I own three Tom Bihn pieces and appreciate the brand and quality. Alas, their backpacks are not for me because there are no external side water bottle pockets. There is a waterproof pocket meant for a water bottle right smack in the middle of the bag, which is a no-go for me. I just had laptop ruined by water damage. No way am I putting a water bottle anywhere near the center of my bag. Yikes!

I purchased tote bags for college in the mid 2000s and then forgot all about the brand. I was searching for a bag and one of their new leather bags popped up on Google. That’s what brought me back to the brand and caught my attention. I think they’ve done a good job with the leather bags offering a good quality leather pieces at an affordable price. It does seem like a good bit of the die hard fans of the brand are upset with the change.
It’s true!! I hope they’re able to dial it in and please the legacy fans as well as their new target audience!

Thanks for the very helpful comparison! It seems to me like the Campus backpack makes a slimmer, less bulky profile when full, while the Bancroft looks lumpy and overstuffed with the same items in it.
Yes! The campus backpack does have a more streamlined profile, in my opinion.

I have and love that campus backpack in microfiber. It wears like performance twill w less weight and it just looks so elegant. I get so many compliments on it. Ty for comparing it to the new one

Hi! Have you ever looked into CALPAK? They have a 15" and 17" backpack in there Luka collection that seem very close to what your looking for!

A backpack that would check all your boxes may be the Brevite 'Jumper' backpack. It had the suitcase pass through, an external water bottle pocket and the padded/elevated laptop pocket. Basically it's padded at the bottom of the laptop area so it doesn't hit the bottom of the bag. Also bonus feature is the zipper for the laptop pocket is water sealed. It can double as a camera bag so there is a middle divider, but you can fold that down so it just functions as a normal backpack. I think the bag is around $169 and comes in super nice colors! I super want one, but as a backpack junkie, I don't need another backpack! 😅

@WalletLife yea I don't think it would fit a large Nalgene, but it can probably fit a decent sized water bottle at least 👍
I’m kind of annoyed that they completely got rid of their old line. There’s actually a few things they had in their previous collection that I actually am finding kind of cute but now I can’t find them anymore
Ughh… that IS annoying! They def should have phased out rather than completely overhauled. Keep an eye out at the VB outlets and eBay/Poshmark. You never know - the things you like might just pop up!
@@WalletLife Update: I actually really lucked out! Turns out they still have some of last seasons' collection on their Amazon site (not on their normal webpage) and while the hydrangea pink xl campus backpack was unavailable for a while, I happened to look at the page again today and there was 1 in stock. I snatched it up right away! It was a little pricey ngl but I think it should be worth it- I really need a high quality backpack with the amount of stuff I carry. It should hopefully arrive before next semester starts in September and I can't wait :)

Glad it was helpful! Sadly, the black does fade a bit over time. I do like the versatility of black, though. If you are worried about fading, I’d go with another color.
