I've been an Alonso fan since he joined Renault and I was just a little kid. Alonso has only ONE weakness: Qualifying. He is the greatest of them all in almost every single other metric. He possesses a lot of the characteristics of Senna but only falls short to Senna due to raw speed

He just is. Hamilton is always assisted by a wonderful car, and Max has Adrian Newey on his side. Alonso has a reputation for taking sub-par cars (like 2012) and taking it to the podium, or even the race win. He actually lost by 3 and 5 points in 2012 and 2010 respectively. And his skill has been shown in many battles,such as against Schumacher in San Marino 2006, Hamilton in Hangary 2021 and Sergio Perez in Brazil 2023.

At first, I was a little disappointed that Ferrari won because I was hoping Cadillac would win. But a few days later, I thought "hey. They did a very great job actually" and I admired Ferrari a lot.

This has to be Ammended in a major way. Alonso is not better than either Lewis or Max in F1 and if we are talking outside of F1, there are bigger names that are far superior to Alonso. Alonso is barely in the top 10 driver of all time, let alone GOAT.

fernando's only weakness is his lack of patience, if only he waited in one team instead of changing every now and then.

You forgot to put "Michael Schumacher" in the title... MSC being the legend he is, he knew he had no hope against Fernando and after a couple seasons with him on the grid Michael simply lost his well known fighting spirit. Fernando crushed the legend because he's the best F1 driver ever... both team principals and other drivers are aware of how unmatched Alonso is, F1 fans seem to refuse to acknowledge that for some reason... I guess they don't want to say out loud their fav drivers aren't worth a tenth of Fernando's talent? It's ok, you can cheer for someone who isn't the best and there's no shame in it.

Even though I am a lifelong Ferrari fan, victories under BoP are meaningless to me. Imagine they did the same in F1, penalizing RedBull for winning too often. And I strongly suspect that without BoP, Toyota would win every single WEC race.
