Welcome to my channel!
Here, you’ll find content focused on Tekken and Marvel Rivals. I share tips, strategies, and insights to help players and myself to improve and enjoy the games even more. (teaching helps me to learn)
Whether you’re looking to level up in Tekken or get a deeper understanding of Marvel Rivals, you’re in the right place since I’ve always loved competitive gaming and have been pretty skilled at many games. Unfortunately, I often gave up for the wrong reasons, something I deeply regret.
At the end of the day, gaming should be about having fun, not chasing ranks or points as fast as possible while stressing yourself out alongside work, school, or university.
Occasionally, you’ll also see some anime music videos, but my main focus is delivering valuable tips and entertaining gameplay from the fighting game scene.

very nice video, even if it is even deeper than that sometimes, i think you caught the essence of it really well tho. There are a lot of scrubs complaining about the sidestep in general without having a clue of how it works or cause of FEW instances where something weird happens that happen in any 3D fighting games due to the nature of hitboxes in 3D games, but in general, Tekken movement is very deep and interesting, and i've played most of the important 3D fighting games out there so i have experience in the topic... it is just that you cannot MINDLESSLY ss/sw everything at any disadvantage like you can kinda do in other games, just have to lab movement which scrubs hate.
I really appreciate your comment man. Thank you very much! And yes!!! So many people complain about stuff they don't even understand. Dunning-Kruger Effect is real even in games.
Generic throws are inputted by 1+3 or 2+4 only. Command grabs 0:40 are not homing. Making them much more risky in comparison to Generic Throws.
Thanks that was very informative! I'd love to see more stuff like that. Oh and the Jun thumbnails are 👌
Jun best <3
Thor is so much fun! 😁
He really is. Even when you don't go for the kills with his (F)-Ability you can still bully your enemy team by jumping in and spamming your shift ability
no i didnt come across these videos, bye
😢😁
Simple, straightforward and to the point. 👍
Thank you really much <3 It motivates me a lot to read comments like these a lot
As a Kazuya main, I will try this
Kazuya has a lot of turn ender attacks that will leave you very minues so he doesn't have a lot of +3 to -3 attacks BUT 1 1,2 1,1 are no brainer attacks and strings that will leave you in the perfect range for stepping and walking. Just be careful to not electric immediately after stepping or walking all the time because it interrupts your dodging ability and increases your hurtbox!
[Facts]
Wallsplatting attacks are crucial if you want to optimize your pressure and maximize damage against your opponent. Jin's 4 and Alisa's 4 are excellent tools for both punishment and pressure. They are 13f fast homing moves that wallplats on normal hit, making them scary tools for your opponent.
Thank u sir, good @$$ tekken info🫡
Very useful and informative video; Haven’t seen many videos that go into full detail regarding the sidestep mechanics in this game.
Thank you so much for your comment! It truly means a lot to me and makes me really happy to hear that you found the video helpful. My goal was to explain the sidestep/sidewalk mechanics in a detailed and understandable way, and it’s amazing to see that it’s appreciated. Thank you for your kind words man
@ArasakaDavid Your welcome! Yes, I believe you've accomplished the goal you've set out for this video. I'm sure many others will find it to be helpful as well.
Whats the name of the song at the end
Don Toliver - TORE UP
If you still get caught while stepping or walking, it’s usually because: -Your opponent used a homing move that tracks in all directions. -They used an attack that specifically tracks to one side, and you stepped in that direction. (don't step in their arms and legs. the exception confirms the rule) -They used an attack that is basically homing with their frame advantage combined (this is ultra rare and has to be specifically labbed) -you inputted your sidestep or sidewalk too late. (input it as early as needed) -Or, because you attacked too early, canceling your sidestep or sidewalk and, in the process, changing, even increasing, your characters hurtbox, making it easier for your opponent to hit you. Always ensure your sidestep or sidewalk fully completes before committing to any follow-up actions if you want your risk to be as small as possible. especially while sidewalking.
Hey, just to add one possibility -> you stepped too early. It means you were +, and the opponent used a move that realigned him after your step (Like a f+input move, if not done perfectly the f might realign you)Happens to me somewhat often.
@@mathiasprudhomme6495 You're absolutely right! If you're too plus, for example, something like +8, and then step or walk, the step or sidewalk usually won't work because you're stepping during a moment when the opponent couldn't do anything anyway due to being in a large hit stun and then the effect of stepping just vanishes into thin air anyway.
@ Yeah ! At that level of plus, opponent doesn't even need to realign lol
The plus on block advice is really good 👍🏽
I’ve developed a feeling for when i need to sidewalk but i have a habit of grabbing, still good damage and I can’t get enough of the throw animations
Don't feel too bad. Grabbing in Tekken 8 is really strong. The generic grabs are homing, have a super fast 12f startup, and they also beat Power Crush and Heat Burst. I'm a big fan of them too, but yeah, sometimes it backfires because they're high and lose to hop kicks, haha.
@ArasakaDavid lol it was definitely a game changer to punish armors with a grab, i need to improve my punishment tho, overall im happy because i feel like I’ve slightly improved and now im able to kbd confidently even with sway characters, i also can do electrics more constantly and my wavedash is more consistent, do you find that wavedashing in the face of the opponent makes it harder ? I feel like it becomes more clunky as opposed to when i do it after a knockdown it comes usually smooth and fast, sorry for the long comment ✌🏽
@@OctopusH2O Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It’s awesome to hear about your progress. Punishment, especially block punishment, is extremely hard on reaction even if you know the frame data in tekken. So don't worry too much about that. Punishing armors with a grab is definitely a gamechanger, and improving punishment overall is always a solid goal. As for wavedashing, I completely get what you mean. Wavedashing in the opponent’s face can feel clunky because the pressure situation often makes it harder to stay smooth and many people won't respect this situation due to having great panic buttons. After a knockdown, there’s usually more space and rhythm, which makes it easier to execute and force a more reliable 50/50 situation. Don’t worry about the long comment, I really enjoyed reading it^
@ArasakaDavid 🙏
i m not playing tekken8 but still watching it to learn something
Thank you for thinking that people can learn something from my videos <3
Thanks. I really struggle with side steps.
Epic
guess what i pressed a button instead and won against god of destruction rank players and im a noob lol coz they overthink too much
I don’t think sidewalking works against Clive. It does work in most cases against most opponents up to a certain rank. Edit: def a great video! Easy and simple to understand.
Thanks for your comment! I agree that sidewalking can be tricky against Clive depending on the situation and especially before Clives f1+2 balance patch nerf. Glad you found the video helpful!
Dr. Biasiotto at the University of Chicago, which examined the effects of mental practice on basketball free-throw shooting. In this study, participants were divided into three groups: Physical Practice Group: Practiced free throws every day for an hour. Visualization Group: Did not physically practice but visualized themselves making free throws. Control Group: Neither practiced nor visualized. After 30 days, the results showed that the Physical Practice Group improved by 24%, the Visualization Group improved by 23%, and the Control Group showed no improvement. This suggests that mental rehearsal can be nearly as effective as physical practice in enhancing performance. BREAKTHROUGH BASKETBALL
Thank you, that's helpful!
🙏🙏
At the highest ranks, it's not only fundamentals that carry you. It’s often the difference between someone who uses their Heat effectively and someone who wastes it immediately. Be smart and take the time to understand your character's unique abilities in Heat. Then You can use your Heat Smash or Heat Dash afterward. Use your resource wisely!
helpful ❤

Its nice to see this game is still alive i've been thinking about downloading it again for about a month now and this vid popped up on my recommended so ill take this as a sign. Very funny video btw 👌
The developers still have some significant issues keeping their promises here and there, but at the end of the day, Mordhau is, in my opinion, the best game in its genre. If you don’t take it too seriously, you can have a ton of fun. <3
One thing I want to emphasize and clarify: In reality, the startup of your attack doesn’t change. A 15-frame startup attack will always have the same startup, regardless of frame advantage. However, in the video, I refer to "...combined with your frame advantage come out in less than 10." This is because it’s more practical to subtract your frame advantage from the startup of your next attack. For example, if I’m at +6 and use a 15-frame attack, I calculate 15-6 and know that I’m effectively under 10 frames and I cannot get interrupted by jabs anymore.
Nice
Nice
Nooo but you dont understand you can only Korean back dash on endless stages, thats real Tekken!
hahaha

The thing is, even at that time, mainman was 100 times better than me, but he gets tilted from frame 1 whenever he sees Yoshimitsu or other Characters he doesn't like, on the screen. His tilt carried my a22.
-2 = Frame advantage 💀
Take notes, my friend: Dragunov's df1 is -2 on block, which means it doesn't end his turn. This allows for easy backdashing, sidestepping, and power crush options and other options. In other fighting games, -2 might spell trouble, but not in Tekken. Here, df1 provides a strong frame advantage (not even mental frame advantage mentioned since it also has a string extension.) This is also why performing df1 on block into another df1 is often an easy, viable option. Some may view -2 as a frame disadvantage and yes you are right, on the surface it is but with all the options like you can easily do with -2, it’s more of a tactical tool than a true disadvantage.
