Did the EU permanently divide Cyprus?
Did the EU Truly divided Cyprus?
what is the role of the European Union in the division of Cyprus? In its attempt to unify Cyprus, the European Union took a questionable step by admitting the Greek part of the island into the EU in 2004, while leaving the other half, which belongs to Turkish Cyprus, outside. This increased tensions between the island's divided communities and perhaps dashed the last hopes for the unification of Cyprus.

      Yes, I understand you, but what I mean is that the European Union's efforts to unify Cyprus were undermined by the accession of the Greek part without the Turkish part. There's no doubt that this division will last longer than we think because of this step; the problem remains unresolved.

    You guys act like that. 28% of California's homeless are all californians and not retired military from other states or just homeless people from other states, with a one way ticket from their local government to come to california because the weather permits easy homelessness. It's because our government would rather send money overseas. Then, give the money to the homeless who need it and could use it to maybe get off the streets. Born and raised in Florida, jobs are very low paying. When I moved to D.C. after high school I noticed the education and opportunities were way more abundant. I was able to land a six figure salary job shortly after. I've tried to move back to south Florida every couple of years just applying for jobs and looking for houses. Jobs especially in Tech are limited greatly, If you had income streams from various places, I'd say moving back to Florida was a no brainer, but solely living on a w2 no where near the income you can make in larger metro areas. Every job Ive had after 21 was a six figure++ salary but couldn't find anywhere in Florida that could provide an income like that.

    Every “fact” in this video could be applied to just about any other state. They are all generic. I have lived in the same Atlantic beach town for almost 50 years. No The Turkish Invasion happened after Cyriot independance. And the Turks knew where the lines were, running down through the territory until they got to the UK retained territory and stoppping at it's border line. The Greek Cypriots provoked it by trying to align the Island with Greece. Turkey saw that as a threat to the Turkish Cypriots and were (according to the treaty) entitled to act. We played no part, we actually evacuated our territories of people and equipment because we didn't know what Turkey intended to do. Our Lightening fighers tracked the Turkish air force, but took no actions to provoke them, so as not to involve us in what was a greek/turkish confrontation.

    You mistakely statedthat the Hot Spot moves! The Hot Spot stays in the SAME SPOT and the tetonic plate moves over it, creating the chain of islands!

    It is low density because it's desert with very little to No water. The very few areas that had water resources built up. People don't realize West of I-5 is a rain forest and East of I-5 is desert. Another reason is Desert is Desert so why buy land where all through the winter it drops down into the teens when you can buy desert in Arizona where it's 40-60 degrees all winter.

    Please explain how 4,000,000 = Nobody.

    • @Geo_story
      @Geo_story 5 місяців тому

      I'm referring to the population distribution per square kilometer of land on both sides. For example, the urban area of Seattle is home to nearly 4 million people, yet the Spokane area in Washington, which is in the same state, has only 600,000 residents. This suggests the presence of huge desolate and vacant areas.

      @@Geo_story You clearly stated that 4 million people are nobody. But it's not vacant and desolate dude. Fruit, wine, wheat are produced there. This is how you come across: Why are fly over country people soooooooo stupid and shitty? The reason....in short they are poor people. The End.

    Actually, sorry to be a party pooper, but life expectancy is decreasing in the US. And right now, three people own as much as the poorer half of the US population. So if we extrapolate from that, one family will own everything including the government, that family will have access to medical technology allowing them to be practically eternal. Everyone else will be employed by and subservient to that one family and die when not productive enough. Everyone will wear a connected fit bit type device that explodes if you don't meet your quota of productivity. Just kidding, something will give on the way to that distopian future. Or maybe not. Statistics follow non linear, non continuous functions, and the world is chaotic, that is why predicting the future is impossible. Some president can accidentally sit on the nuclear button and obliterate the planet (just a funny analogy, if you have my dark humor), it's called chaos theory, or "the butterfly effect".
