Elizabeth really knows what she's talking about.. It's something that sets her apart from a lot of voice react UA-camrs, not to disparage any of them, but she has performed at this high of a level
the only thing i always ask my self: Why, the heck, do female opera voices do use constant full on vibrato... I love Elizabeth and have a ton of respect. For me, this type of music would be 5 times more enjoyable. It is mend to be enjoyed live... Anatomically the voice organ is so small....to fill such a large room without p.a. system is amazing
BRAVO! What an amazing voice!
(This comment is an affectionate parody of a typical TCV video.) 2:40 Oh my gosh! [long pause] Let's go back to the beginning. [gasp] Wow. Okay, you hear how she keeps her voice in her mask? That's this area right behind the face. When the vocal folds go wacka-wacka-wacka, there are things we can do with our mouth and facial structures to shape the sound; she's pushing it all right up there for clarity and projection. Whoa. [chuckle] Let's go back to the beginning again. See how she keeps her arms at her sides? I'd love to see more movement in her shoulders; it helps support those sustained phrases. 4:23 That bit of fry in her voice! This conveys a lot of emotion, but if done improperly, can damage the vocal folds; however, there are healthy ways to do this, which is why we're doing research into how singers employ these extended vocal techniques, including putting a camera down their throats and fMRI. Wow. Okay. [aroused animalistic noises] Let's listen to that part again. Thank you for reading this comment, and "May you fall more in love with music every day."
Wow. I want to hear her sing some Heart. I never did understand opera. But it is beautiful and technical as hell.
Miss charismatic voice, look at you! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND AMAZING
We are so proud of our metalhead girl! Kick ass! 🤟🤟🤟
I sang "jimmy cracked corn" in 3rd grade and it totally sucked compared to Elizabeth right here!❤😅😂
Elizabeth love you 🤘🏻🤘🏻🖤
All of this without amplification!
This gave me tears. Her voice is incredible. 🖤
a wonderful woman and artist and a wonderful ambassador of classic hard rock music.
I wish I had speakers that could do this performance justice.
Where is her mic? Seriously
I never thought I would be throwing devil horns add an opera performance 🤘
At high school I was a metalhead, I left and began working in a large touring theatre. It was fantastic, bands like UFO, MSG, Rush, Black Sabbath, Gillan played weekly. Weekdays other performances arrived and I received a great musical education. English National Opera, Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet, Welsh Opera and Scottish Opera. I ended up with friends from everywhere who played and sung for the greatest companies. Although I now live in Wales, I know that they don't have the best singers. English National Opera do and Scottish Opera had the best orchestra. If you look through my records, tapes, cds or playlists now you will not be able to pur me in a category, except eclectic.
Elizabeth, thank you, thank you thank you for your analysis of the songs I love and for your personal gift to music. You bring me joy, and after this just pure amazement. Bless you.
Wowzers! I really enjoyed this. Elizabeth with the beautiful voice, mind, and presence.
Absolutely amazing!!❤❤❤
Shazam!!
Did someone say she sings metal?
Whatta babe
A voice of an Angel... (WoW)
Way to go Lizzy
My god , amazing
Sweet Jesus, Elisabeth has passion for singing. 🤩
I have to laugh because she unknowingly became an ambassador of Opera in much the way Marty Stuart, Dwight Yoakum, and Junior Brown are ambassadors of country music.
Stunning performance!!! WOW!!!
Found myself here after watching a random reaction video to Blues Traveler (Thanks, YT algorithm!) I feel wrenched and gutted and am left wanting more. Amazing!
Never before have I heard an interpretation that elevates these EARLIEST songs by Verdi on Italian translations of texts from Goethe's "Faust" to the melodic and dramatic level of the best music from Verdi's early operas - long before "Nabucco"! What a genius Verdi was! "Sul vascel del finestrino" actually anticipates "Amami, Alfredo!"
F'n Banger!
damn.... listen to those folds going.... WACKA WACKA WACKA !!!!!
Wunderschön!
Blown away.!!!!!!
Absolutely amazing....and to think...at the time of this performance she was in her 20's....WOW
Indeed she has made me re-examine it and classical music in general.
Absolutely wonderful, beyond my comprehension how opera singers achieve this.
Brava
Elizabeth Zharoff-СТЕКЛО!
!!!
Amazing
Elizabeth, without the internet I would have probably never gotten to know you or heard you sing. Words fail to express how robustly enthralling your voice is. Whether you're singing or speaking, hearing your voice is a lovely experience. You are just the greatest
So she can sing too...
Amazing
Watched quite a few of your videos where you were evaluating other singers and the though hit my mind that I would like to hear your voice...watched and heard this video...cried like a baby
Personally, I have never been a fan of opera. However, I can now hear how such strong emotions mixed with the superlative trained vocals are a mix to be very well investigated.
Who told us that Opera as a Genre is not hot? And who told us that Opera singers are not hot? Don't know, but they are both wrong because this is hot!!
An amazingly beautiful Woman, with an amazing voice! As a musician, I can feel her emotion, and she appreciates all music. WOW!!! She needs to listen to the band Queensrÿche in their early days. Jeff Tate is amazing. Listen to “Take hold of the flame”.
I’m here for Elizabeth!❤
so much vibrato...I hardly can hear the true notes...somewhere in the middle....
