"Tip Toe" for Clarinet
Here's my rendition of the shout chorus of the Thad Jones composition, "TipToe". In the original version, the full big band is playing this section. I wanted to reduce it to 6 Clarinets to see how it sounded. Enjoy!

Dvořák Concerto for Cello Excerpt for Winds

I was particularly inspired after I watched a video of the great Yo Yo Ma perform this piece with the orchestra as written by Dvořák. I decided to re-orchestrate this sublime excerpt for a small woodwind section and replace the Cello with an Alto Saxophone. I hope you enjoy it!

Here’s some fun from the great composer #AntonioCarlosJobim. This is my little version of his classic “One Note Samba”. These are the kinds of things that swim around my head at night! This is proof positive that talent flows down-hill through offsprings if captured and nurtured correctly. Just look this family as well as the Drinkard Family (Cissy Houston & Sisters, Dionne & Dee Dee Warwick, Whitney, Michael & Gary Houston) that have been singing professionally for damned near 100 years. Now you have Scott playing the hell out of Horns for decades and then he brings his son Michael with a beautiful voice along. I'm not sure if daddy Scott can sing but Micheal's mother Valerie Pinkson can belch with the best of them. In fact she has been an in demand background singer for decades as well as once being the female lead with the funk, soul and r&b group Chapter 8. Who's to say that this family don't have first-class talent on lock!!!! Out
