If you're getting ready to wax your vehicle & need the prior wax , dressings and other silicone based products removed than use this. Its great for a serious wash before waxing

I can’t find one fucking video where this cleans the walls of the wheel. Cleaning a rim is easy, getting the embedded brake dust from the walls seems impossible and no none shows how it’s done.

It will strip all wax from the paint finish! So unless you want to wax every time you wash your car, don't use any dish washing soap on your car!!!

There is no way it produced that much foam!!! I am trying this tomorrow!!!

Good for between waxing, if you still use wax.

Worked for 2 different body shops they used dawn for almost everything its a cheaper alternative and does a better job than most high end products

Dawn is made with sodium Laurel sulphate and so is all car wash shampoos that cost 10 X more . I use to be a lab tech in the detergent industry .

It's not good to use dish soap because you're actually stripping the protective clear coat on your cars paint

I always wondered why my foam was weak even with dedicated foam soaps. One gentle squeeze of Dawn along with the same soap and like they say "She's THICC!"

Dawn is strong enough to cut grease, and strong enough to strip wax. So unless you are going to wax the car after a dawn wash, don't use dawn...

Contrary to the all the crying people. Dawn does NOT damage paint. It’s a great strip wash. Work vehicles with owners who dgaf about coatings just want their heavily soiled and greasy cars cleaned. Dawn is your friend.

Dawn is a great car wash soap if you are going to "start over" on your protectants. It strips waxes and sealants, so you 1. Dawn wash 2. Ph neutral wash 3. Sealant 4.wax

I was informed by a pro detailer that dawn is great, if you want/need to strip the car completely. Then reapply your waxes or color sealants and whatnot #ijs

Dawn Dish Soap has been my go to cleaner for 30 years. If their out of Dawn at the local grocery store I buy Sunlight. Both are terrific. 👍
