Eu também estou desenvolvendo uma engine 3d, gostei muito do seu trabalho.
Note: The flickers in some parts is because Im not ordering the render by Z depth I'll fix it for the next update Im doing perspective camera to make some cutscenes in game more dynamic or some effects for my future 2d metroidvania

Next Steps: - Add Shoot Mechanic in my Character Controller - Enemies AI and HitBox Feedback - Audio Engine - UI - Framebuffer Visual Effects - Particle System - zlib assets compression Next year I’ll start do make my own game using my engine, a metroidvania I’ll make some others character controller options to make other genre, not just 2d platformer
I’m using Megaman X assets because I’m not an artist and I need some visual sprites to deal with animation and visualize some mechanics working correctly
In your game engine did you focus in 3d too or just 2d , keep going btw ❤
Hey, thanks for the incentive So, the initial idea is master the 2D render, but how Imusing a OpenGL renderer pipeline is "easly" to make 3D too. Right know my Sprites already is in a 3D space, I render it as a quad with a texture. This is good because I can do some layers with depth details and parallax background. Ill make some 3D tests in the future to mix with 2d graphics like some modern 2d games.
