[Easiest Ever Grain Tek] No Soak, No Boil, Grain Spawn for Growing Mushrooms
Переглядів 198 тис.3 роки тому
I use a no soak and no boil method (tek) of making grain spawn. By the name implies I do not soak or boil my grain before pressure cooking it. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments. Like and subscribe for more videos coming soon! CORRECTION: I said 2 Micron in the video when I meant to say 0.2 micron. I meant to say 10T filter bags instead of 14T. Sterilized Grain Spawn Bags are...

Aren't you the one that said we live in a Heliocentric universe?

@@midnightmushroomco.2091 There is a guy that kind of looks like you on UA-cam. His only job and mission in life is to prove that we really land on things in outer spaaace. .... I know you are not him. His name is dave. Anyway I am new , and I have subscribed to your channel. I like what I see, and I'm spending way too much money and you have helped me learn how not to waste my limited funds. Thank you sir . I am 3 weeks now from my STB . Hoping to see pinning soon ......
Why are you breathing all over your sab🤦😬
Can you seal the bag before going in the pressure cooker?
Using. Bleach, how many percentage to use?
Thank you sir
How about no rinse sanitizers?can be used instead of alcohol?
what's the song at 6:40 ?
Doest it works the same with weath? Great video!😀
Accelerated hydrogen peroxide = best in late 2024
Bad music. Could be a better grower...Not a perfect description, nor explanations. Still a good lesson, one can extract from you and make better ideas.
Great video. Could the oats formula be used for rye, since they are similar? Ever tried that?
Vielen Dank
Thanks 😊
Using bleach can cause many mutations in a box. 70 percent is better than
Hey man, thanks for the video!!!. I don’t have a flow hood,,, can I just seal the bag right out the pressure cooker and then get air in through the filter??
Thanks for the video! Does this work for Rye berries too? If cleaned
It says "Tripple Washed" on the bag of oats, so why would you need to wash them? The pressure cooker sterilises everything, even a piece of dirt from the sidewalk.
2 weeks to see growth? more like 2 days for natalensis, it will have the whole plate colonized in 2 weeks!
It’s highly dependent upon species. Some spores germinate quickly and others take a while.
have u tried this with milo as well?
What's with the damn music in so many videos? I always give a thumbs down when they do that.
that is never 1.5lbs of water, which is about 1.5 pints.
Do not bother, the grain in the bottom of the bag are cooked in the water that has sunk to the bottom of the bag, waste of time.
I dunno…he keeps doing this method
Dont forget to wipe whatever you spray with 70% alc. In a few minutes the alcohol will evaporate and leave you with water which is a contam favorite
So essentially he is quick soaking them by using hot hot water at first
It’s not hot water
@@midnightmushroomco.2091 you literally said you use hot hot water to get things going
@@Jdizzle-lv6of ah sorry. We don’t do that in our production runs. It’s straight water from the tap.
@@midnightmushroomco.2091 suuuuurrrrreeee 🤣
This guys wife " it's ok if you want to take a little longer this time"
After so watching so many grain spawn videos, finally someone mentions not having to have the pressure cooker on max. Love the minimalist approach, thank you
Great video all together. One question in the last part is it necessary to open the bag and let air in if you are going to seal it and remove the air out of it again ? I feel like i missing something but it seems like an unnecessary step that might lead to contamination.
Will this method work the same with a ninja instapot?
Hello can you use this method with milo grains?
I swear you have to deep dive to find these kind of videos.
Mi cepa perdió mucha calidad ¿ como puedo mejorarla ?
One thing that worries me is burning my house down. Any protections against that?
Why the loud repetitive music, it’s you we want to hear!
of course, if you pressurize cook it, you don't need to boil.
does anyone have experience trying to sterilize grains (jars or bags) in a microwave? I'm looking to make the process even simpler. The microwave wouldn't need so much adjusting and monitoring it as the pressure cooker does. besides it could be safer and well: you don't even need a clunky pressure cooker.. also in the same vein: is there a way to do this bag technique shown here without a flow hood? Thanks for sharing your experience!
Gracias ❤
If i only have a still air box, im assuming this method isnt going to work as well since i would have put it in my box and open it to be able to distribute moisture.
I have wanted to do this for some time. Just a thought, Sodium hypochlorite is a great disinfectant you can find it in Pool cleaning areas Lab content would be 80% but the pool stuff is great for many things. Used to clean well water and food products in major industrial areas. Also a main ingredient in killing fungus growth in wood framing such as under houses and basements... .. . (Perhaps not needed). Something more, I use a similar box for jewelry work to capture dust I keep the box right side up and silicone a picture frame glass to the top so you can see better.
Thanks
How would you recommend handling the opening and shaking step right at the end without access to a flow hood? Would you recommend sticking to jars as opposed to bags in that situation?
Is that why my when I put grain in the .5micron bags they mold?
I've used the same method except that I do leave it to soak overnight, such that endo spores are awakened, for a TOTAL sterilization.
Great video thanks , can save alot of effort & time Will this Tek for MIllet / Sorgum or Wild bird seed and pop corn ?too??
Hey What size Tub is that?
I think you meant 1cc x2, not 10cc twice
Its a shame modern cultivation techniques dont increase the subject's natural immunity and resistance. Multiple generations under seerile conditions does much the opposite, similar can be said for even a certain species of plant that is widely cultivated...indoors...
How would you do nsns without a flowhood?
Do you need to pull the liquid that is still in the needle back inside the syringe? I think i contaminated a syringe from improper technique after using and storing my needle
