It's the other way around for me. Sometimes the place I go to has many good things and I just know someone's paying attention to it but then the person who presents it has a horrible attitude and I just keep wanting to tell them that they're losing customers who could have easily become regulars because it's such a waste of quality goods I don't tell them though because if they cared they wouldn't have acted that way to begin with

medium rare (or medium) BURGER is a surefire way to end up with e coli. The whole reason you can have a steak anything less than well done is because the outside of it is where the bacteria is, you can sear it off. Burgers are ground up so you gotta cook it fully to get it gone

as someone who works in service, I've only said this once. I was eating at a restaurant with my now late grandfather, after an hour wait to get seated (must be busy ig right), along the way to our seats I notice there's only five tables.woth customers, all in one Waitress's (the hostess specifically) section. Already not a good look. We wait another 40 minutes before we're acknowledged and asked for drinks, we order our whole meal naturally as we've been in waiting hell. 20 minutes later our sodas come out, an hour after that we're asking how the food is going, she only gave kitchen our drinks. We are now asking politely to speak to a manager as we feel mistreated. She says that she is the manager. We express our doubt that she can manage a restaurant when she can't even manage to put customers in different sections or take orders correctly at this point as we're getting rather crabby. She says that we're welcome to leave if she's so incompetent, we say "no, we came here to eat hours ago, we're getting that food." It finally arrived another hour later, the restaurant almost closing now, we haven't been asked for refills on our drinks once, food comes out cold, we eat it, pay the bill, tip nothing. She complains we didn't tip her and were being rude. I Simply said "Sorry, but legally we're not allowed to tip a management position as they are not making service wages. But don't worry, we're never coming back after this so you can try that grift on some other sorry sucker stuck waiting three hours on two orders of a chicken leg and baked potatoes. Actual Manager was out and about right now as they wanted to see why we haven't left yet. waitress had been lying about being the manager..She was new to being a hostess in fact. Manager overheard our complaint regarding time waiting for service as they were coming by, offered us full refunds. We refused as we had eaten the food, and were not seeking a refund, we just explained that unfortunately we won't be returning to this establishment. I like to imagine that waitress got canned tho.

I worked at a drive thru subway knock off. Had a rude ass customer giving all my coworkers shit for this and that. I took over. I checked him out, made sure his stupid shit was right, and he still said "you just lo-" I cut him off to say this: "We do not give a fuck about you sir, you are one single individual in a line that litreally goes around the building and into the street. We truly don't need shitbags like you holding the line up. I charged you extra for the bullshit by the way, now get lost and have the day you fukken deserve." The white in his face faded until he was transparent. He sunk into his seat and drove away. Two days later he's back, comes inside and asks for ME. I'm in the back literally cutting onions for the lunch rush, I didn't have time to stop, so I brought my knife and next onion out to talk to this bastard. He gives me a 20$ and says he's really sorry for the shitshow, he was having a bad day and should have acted better instead of bringing us down with him. He then proceeded to give a 20$ for each person who worked that day and asked me to make sure they all got theirs. Then left. After that, he was never rude again and always tipped. Sometimes giving people a reality check is worth it. But it was a good thing the store owner agreed with every word I said that day, because he was exhausted and dealing with seven orders on the grill at once by him self and didn't have time to deal with it. I always MAKE time to be that bitch though.

This shit is why I'm glad I work at a gym. We are so quick to kick people out and ban their memberships it's not even funny. We don't need your "business," especially if you're refusing to pay your membership fees or acting like an ass. You can cry your way out the door for all we care.
