I bought this car with it already installed and I never had it on a Dyno. But this cam with supporting mods will probably get right at 400whp. I had it in my LS1 Camaro and I think it made about 380ish. But that car had a lot of drivetrain weight because of the driveshaft and rear end.

Yes I changed the springs. Dont recall what I used though. The pushrods were 7.4s but I'd really recommend measuring to see what you really need

It sure did. But was only able to use 2 of the 3 bolts per side on the engine mounts.

Yeah. It runs really good. They tweaked the tune and it's much nicer to drive now

I had hand ported 243s and LS6 intake. Its definitely a great all around cam that's not too big

@@camaroboricua yeah I'm probably gonna have pat do it...i was just curious. I have a 6 speed car with 410 gears. Everyone says the cam is great. Taking the car to Houston January 2nd to get it put in. Did you ever put your car on the dyno? Or is it just street tuned?

It was dyno tuned. 432 hp 39? Tq. But I have a 12 bolt in it and that likes to eat hp.

And mine is m6 with 4.11s. It's a fun set up that's for sure.

@@camaroboricua those are some nice numbers even with the 12 bolt. I'm hoping for 400rwhp. I'm on stock 853 heads. Hopefully I'll have a video up next weekend.

Fuel pressure regulator of you reuse in tank pump. You can reuse the lt1 engine mounts but only two bolts will line up per side on the block. Crossmember will vary depending on the trans you use and lt1 headers will work. Everything else is pretty straight forward...

SilverPanda WS6 no it has bigger injectors. I'm thinking it might have been due to the pushrods being too long keeping the valves open. I'm rebuilding it right now and I literally just finished measuring it and it's showing I needed shorter ones. Also, the car has a 12 bolt in it so that might have something to do with it also.

SilverPanda WS6 it's a good cam. You'll be happy with it. Mine died and took the cam with it so I decided to try out the tick SNS stage 3. Hopefully it'll be running soon

SilverPanda WS6 not really. I'd just say to make sure your pushrods are the correct length and make sure your lifter trays are good. The lifters should be snug on the trays. Otherwise it might chew up the cam. It likes nitrous so if you were planning on spraying that's a plus. I didn't tune it myself so I can't help in that aspect.

jpowell1906ify Thanks but it's been so long I don't remember exactly where I got power from. Might have done it to the ignition harness in the column.

Teej' I used the serpentine belt set up from a 90 camaro. Eventually I re-routed the belt without the a.c. compressor and it helped rev quicker. You can also use the basic v belt in older sbc 305/350's.

ah ok. ended up getting a 1998 5.7 sbc serpentine kit mistaken for a 90 camaro kit.. Just wanting to see what works with it.

it'll bolt up to the gen1 but you need the non electronic version. Or convert yours to full manual. it won't work without the ecm.

So basically the 4L60 without the E or just buy a 700R4 😩😩

Companies like tci and pcs make controllers for the 4l60e too, im putting a 1st gen 400 to mine with the tcs ez-tcm

Harlemville , they now make a tpi sensor you can bolt to the side of the carb to control a 4l60e trans.

Larry Harlem It had a T5 transmission from a third gen.

I had modified the wiper bracket to work with the carb hat I was using. I made my own car hat to help also

Google says elevation is 650' here. I have 62cc hand ported 243 heads. Ls6 intake. 36 lb injectors and all the usual bolt ons. Except for udp. I think there's more left in it cause the shop that tuned it usually does conservative tunes so that they drive well and are reliable and of course so they live longer. I've heard of ppl getting 425 on a c5z

I used a t56 crossmember for the t5. bolted right on. when I converted to the 5.3 with auto Iused an auto crossmember but I had to extend the bolt hole with a welded on tab. If you were talking about the k member its the stock lt1 with lt1 motor mounts but only used the rear two bolt holes on the mounts.

I got the engine from craigs but it was originally from a '70 truck. The belt system came off a '90 Camaro.
