I spent an hour with technical help who had no clue how to take this drawer apart. So I talked to Gen in parts and she suggested we check out You Tube. We followed your directions and my drawer is clean! I actually messaged the tech guy back. Thank you so much for your video.

I would advise to skip the first step of removing the white piece - mine starting breaking before it “clicked”. Just push on the tabs is enough to reduce the front part of the drawer and clean. Thanks for the video!!

That popping noise you hear when you push down on the tabs is your drawer breaking. Now my drawers are broken. Is the lady who did this video going to pay for them since I followed her instructions to the tee?

Lady, you have some hairy arms....

The white trim on my model is completely wrapped around the front of the drawer...can't remove it. The front of the drawer came off fairly easily after unsnapping the bottom of the drawer...(like in the video) no need to remove the white trim.

I have had this fridge for 4 years and every time I try to clean it, I try to figure out how to clean the drawers. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! NOW, the side baskets that hold condiments on doors!!

Yep fire the idiot. Managed the 1st draw eventually but broke one of the bottom clip holders at least got the draw back after some superglue. Same issue with 2nd draw but still struggling to get it back together. Poor design.

That sound you hear is the plastic lip snapping half off. Find another way

My husband got it opened up , ended up with a little crack & small broken white piece . But was happy to get the crease in the drawer clean . Thank you 😊

You saved my life! Your demo was spot on including one of your viewers comments to assist with info. NOW … if you can tell all of us how to keep my ice maker from clogging up all the time, perhaps it will help renew my confidence in Samsung. We gave up trying to figure it out to the point we bought a $2500 stand alone ice maker… $1000 more than the refrigerator.

Samsung has started bonding their parts together. As soon as I even started trying this and another technique on another video - the plastic begins to break. We had multiple people try - the plastic is bonded together

A piece of plastic cracked off when I removed the silver top piece so I didn’t go any further in case any more of it broke! Terrible drawer design to have a gap where things get stuck

The white part doesn’t pop open without cracking and breaking. There aren’t insertion points on the top to insert a screwdriver. So frustrating

The worst drawer cleaning I've ever encountered! This video certainly helped, but was really difficult working with the plastic tabs, which weren't very visible. I found it easier NOT to remove the white edge--really not necessary. Finally got them clean and put back together. Now going to calm down with a big helping of wine. 😅

Struggled for hours and could not figure it out until I saw this. Great! Good job.

Using screw drivers to push on the tabs is a really bad idea, as is evident, because you broke one of the tabs. I just had to remove the shelf above the crisper drawer to clean because meat had bled out of a package. To depress the tabs, I used a pair of C-clamp Vise Grips. I started with the grips fairly loose and tightened them in small increments. The tabs bent slowly , but the shelf wasn't releasing. I opened the grips, and the shelf came loose. Turn the shelf upside down to release the hold down clips on the back edge of the shelf to remove the glass.

That noise you hear is the plastic breaking. Any company that would make such a complicated system to do something as simple as cleaning food debris from a simple drawer sho/uld be made to pay for ever broken drawer theey forced on the consumers.

Found your video during my 1000th time trying to clean the drawers on our fridge.....known in our household as Samsuck due to several issues .....but I digress. Anyway....we were finally able to clean the gunk between the layers of the crisper drawers thanks to your informative video. We are absolutely jubilant...for real!! Bless you!!

Thank you for this video. I had even spoken with Samsung in the UK for help and they didn't know! It's a terrible design, and I learnt a valuable lesson when I buy my next fridge, is take a careful look at the draws to see if they are potential health hazards by trapping food in an unnecessary seam joint.
