Hey everybody, welcome to the first video of my channel. I want to dedicate this channel specifically towards my Honda Element. If that is something you are interested, please consider subscribing and liking the video. Thanks!
I like how you say Miguel from Element Lifestyle like we are all supposed to know who he is... I indeed have seen his videos and know who he is 😂
Congrats!!!! I'm looking for my own as well. Cant wait to see what you do with your new rig.
😂First time watching one of your videos. I love the “realness” of it. The fact you don’t cut out the mistakes and show the complications. Actually laughed out loud, sitting here alone, when you dropped the rear hatch trim. Gotta love an Element. I have two.
Glad you enjoyed it 😂 I laugh at myself constantly
Great idea for the bed with access doors. Good luck
This is dope! I hope to get one soon myself! Have fun with the journey man.
Gotta start your too!
Looks good! I'm not entirely sure of the purpose, it's not hidden & stuff inside could damage the outside. A coat of bed liner spray should prevent that, but don't put heavy or pointy things in it.
Bed liner spray! Thank you!
Looks good! Well done.
Very nice. One idea I would like to see is pistons for the tailgate. I have mobility issues and it is difficult for me to lower the tailgate without it falling down and possibly causing damage. Any ideas. TIA
That would be awesome honestly! I have not looked into this until now but would definitely consider something like this, finding the right strut length would be key
I will keep an eye out for something. It's always a pain when I loose my grip and the tailgate slams down....😢@@Alwaysdante
Just hearing you talk I can imagine is though you were my son and looking to go on this adventure living out of your vehicle I pray that you make the best out of it and don’t let anyone or anything discourage you and make you feel less then all you can do is your best put your trust absolutely in the Lord And he’ll give you peace and you’ll be just fine I can tell that there is a sleeping giant killer in you remember this bad company corrupts good morals when I was a young man I was a loner because I did not like the shenanigans of my peers but I was all right with that that’s what sets the men from the boys be safe God bless
Thank you for this
I just got a 2003 with only 95k miles on it (2nd lowest mileage care I've ever owned) and I LOVE IT! SO much fun to drive
Great mileage!
Dante are you using wheel spacers?
There are spacers yes
Awesome build! curious about the type and thickness of wood you used. I'm currently planning my own build, so any tips you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Man it’s been so long, I want to say half inch ply. Hope your build is coming along good! I had months of planning but ended up improvising a lot because of my lack of skills and knowledge of it all 😂 but it was truly fun, and am super content everytime I see my build
Nice! May I ask what year , Mileage and price of the Element. Looking now to buy and want to know what I should spend. Thank you,
Yo Dante where's that follow up video? I think I can figure it out but you had clips of you doing it. Ya the Rob one is over engineered and over priced. It also is heavy from what people say. This design is simple and exactly what I want to do. I think I will spray some bed liner in it first. I think I will add a lock. If you put links to the parts it would be appreciated.
Hope you saw the longer video! It’s still lacking information hahah if you have more questions I can still answer them here, and I am also looking into bed liner spray!
Great job! I can hardly wait for the follow up!
Thank you
Dang I just found this video but if u make your way back to AZ, specifically Lake Havasu hit me up! I’ve got three Elements! Haha @Habanero_the_element Wife is jalapeño the element. Just subbed my guy! 🤙🏽
Hey I briefly saw a center console. Did you make that? Is there a video coming about how you made it? Do tell! 😊
@@mscristyle100 hm maybe I should do a video!
@@Alwaysdante please do!!!!
good stuff my man!
Is it me or is there no sound? Am I the problem it might be me
Haha should be good no ?
@Alwaysdante yep it's good 👍🏾
@alwaysdante bro, thank you for existing. Very much on a new hunt for an Element and you’re the first brown face I’ve seen jamming with one. Leaving this on here bc @jstdnac thanks for the Black folks in rvs playlists!
Yeah, the other one is very posh, but so $$$. Congrats on a great build!
Oh hell yeah!! Yours turned out great! I'm literally waiting on parts in the mail to do the exact same thing to my toaster! That Rob Dizzy one is crazy overpriced and over built. Can't wait for the build video!!
Good luck with yours! The process was fun
I mean you could have just put another nut on the eye bolt smh😅
Junkyard finds!
Awesome video

@@Alwaysdante ~ I’m doing research now on which Element I prefer to get. What was the approximate mileage when you got it? Thanks
I've lived in my Element for 6 years man good to see more elements on the road!
Yoo Stephen the GOAT! Hope to meet you one day✌🏽
Nice trip. Good times. Beautiful views. Be safe on your next one. I need to take the Jeep out there one day. 😊
NIce! I am jealous but just behind you. Got my roof top tent sitting in the garage and waiting on new crossbars. Going to put a big shelf in the truck to make storage easier until I get my sliding drawers figured out, someday... Your E looks good!
Ooh roof tents are nice Thanks for the comment!
Did someone bring you gas?
Sure did
Do you mind if i ask how much you spent on gas total? I just bought a 2007 element and plan on road tripping but it is a thirsty vehicle. I am gonna be driving from Florida to Oregon. @@Alwaysdante
@@serpentwisdom definitely not the gas saver ppl promote hahah, but I spent maybe less than 200 total trip
Does that back to black last on the plastic? Whatever I put on mine looks great but then a few weeks later it looks crap again.
It’s been about two months and I have noticed the shine is gone. The rich full darkness that was initially there isn’t anymore. It still looks good though in my opinion, definitely lasting longer than a few weeks. Probably going to try Toaster Grease Next time. I’ve also only washed the car 2/3 times since I applied. Hope this helps!
I have an 03 DX and I used "Wipe Nu" and it's held up over 3 yrs. I didn't do the roof trim and you can really tell I should have...
Eye bolts
Lmao thank you! 😂
What kind of bull bar is that?
what a kind sole. Most would have killed that snake. You have a Sub. Hope to see many more adventures of yours.
looking good.
Very smart you did a trial run right away to get a vibe on it! Sweet spot too.
You’re doing great!
Looks super clean bro 👍🏻👍🏻
Congrats. I just got a 2011 AWD EX.
Remove those front spacers, to much strain on the wheel bearings
I’ll look into that. Thanks for the tip!
We are you from bro,?
1hr from La 2 from San Diego 👍🏽
Good video, bro. Looks like all went well. Being out in the middle of nowhere, just me and my dog is one of my favorite things on earth.

@@Alwaysdante come brothe in Azerbaijan I'm living with here
@@Alwaysdanteno wonder the spot you went to looked familiar to me.
It’s getting there. Great job. Btw I cheapen things out and kick myself but it never stops me from doing it again. 🤦🏻♀️
Same 😂
Congrats on your new Element! I've recently discovered a new found love for my 2007 EX and had no idea about the Honda Element community across the US. And how coveted the Element is - these vehicles are an acquired taste if you know what I mean. Been slowly replacing parts here and there, along with the upkeep of course. My E is all stock, I'm the OG owner of the car so it's essentially my baby lol. I'm at 157k on it. These vehicles are hard to kill and they take a beating. Good luck on your journey.
Welcome to the Honda Element cult community. Go to the Element tale of the dragon in NC on May 8th I think. U hv to register to join them.
It looks dope!
Bro! U gotta tell me where you got that Bullbar from. I been looking for that for 2 years and can’t find it. Let me know when you get a chance. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hahah I’m not sure man 😂 came from the previous guy!
you got it bruv, you plan on making it out to EOTD 2024 next month?
What is that ?
“Back to the grind, literally.” Haha I felt that. I don’t think I have ever done a project that didn’t have these kinds of moments. Your build is coming along nicely, bro. I enjoy watching the process.
another good one! I was thinking of getting a kit for this... BTW, the lift assist mod (using stronger hydraulics than the OEM) is a good return on effort.
I’ll try to check those out!
