Met one of the filmmakers at the Red, nice people and cool films!!
Looks fabulous ❤. Also looks like there is a ton of white water kayaking to ??? What is the nearest town to look for on google earth?
cody averbeck clear-cuts bluff lines and builds subdivisions. next time you find yourself in the picturesque Sequatchie valley, look up at jasper highlands and thank him for ruining the view
Competence is all that matters, the acceptance you've been raised on in the last several decades is being misunderstood and taken to a dangerous extreme. That acceptance actually the experienced climbers waiting for you to demonstrate your ability (and desire) to learn, develop unconscious competence, and pass that knowledge on. Gravity is a honey badger, it don't give a f@*k about your your feelings or your identity, gravity only cares about whether you carelessly leave your thumb on a grigri cam, tie your knot poorly, run backwards to take in slack, wear flip-flops to the cliff or treat the outdoors/nature like a climbing gym. Climbing is far too dangerous to be treated like you're in a skate park with an ambulance in sight. Many people have picked this sport for the wrong reasons, and do not have the constitution or mind-set for learning the procedures to keep themselves and their friends safe. They are fantastic and insanely nice people, this is just the wrong sport! Physical ability (how hard you pull) has NOTHING to do with this opinion!
Amazing stuff. Thank you for all the hard work.

Can't wait to see this.
Sick video
V v v v v excited this is on the UA-cams whoooo! To me, climbing access means ~*~ sustainable psych and stewardship ~*~
Absolutely rad video! Super inspired to get involved in my local climbers coalition!
Love y’alls work and effort in building a stronger southern climbing community!
Great work y'all!
I found out about this film on a random day trip to Chattanooga where my girlfriend and I visited the High Point location there. We stopped by the Rock Creek store to purchase new gear where this film was to be shown that night, but were unfortunately unable to stay for the viewing because of the long drive back home. We just recently got into climbing. We’re 5 months in and absolutely loving it. We introduced my kids to it and they feel the same as we do. Watching this film has really opened my eyes to the importance that groups such as the SCC and the Access Fund play in protecting and procuring areas for climbing, both now and in the future. Thank you for posting this for those of us who were unable to view it. Your hard work paid off, if for no other reason than it has shown me the importance of going from a moral supporter to an active contributor.
Thank you for the kind words Jered! It means a lot to us to see new climbers appreciate all the stewardship efforts that a lot of us take for granted! Creating the film was quite the process, so I can't even imagine how much hard work went into opening the area. Best of luck with all your climbing endeavors, the sport has changed my life and I hope it's a positive experience for your family too.
Amazing film, and I'll say it a thousand times more, super proud! <3
Awesome film! Really enjoyed seeing locals cruise hard lines .
Man I love that area, such an amazing film! Thank you for making it possible to have access to incredible areas like these. These spots have created some of my favorite climbing memories
Love seeing all the work being done in that area! Thank you to all that make it possible for us to enjoy these beautiful spaces. Loved this video!
More climbing access to me means more areas to escape the masses. With two dogs, it’s tough showing up to a crowded crag expecting to have a good time. Thanks for all the work you put into this film and this area!
climbing access to me means an area dedicated to self growth and expression. the idea of public access to these areas makes me so proud of the community I take part in because it means that people care about people other than themselves.
Love seeing y’all bring the community together and enjoy the outdoors responsibly, which is what conversation is all about. Keep it up!
Great film!
Shots look sick. Beautiful area.
Wow, great film! Very well done, and a real eye-opener to this new kid on the block.
I loved seeing this at Rocktoberfest! Great film, guys! Really makes me want to visit Denny.
Can't wait to see it next week!
no offence, I was just there and you could have ditched the generic film music and pumped up the natural sounds. Seems a waste. It's a beautiful natural soundscape and you killed it here.
