Yeah, well, just turn crashes off. I've had that once in asbobo planes when the PMDG or Fenix weren't released yet, and then I just turned that off. But idk why it happens. Great Video xD

yeah, upgrading a system shows the differences...in the last comparison, DLSS and frame generation really makes a huge step about run the sim so smooth...but, although DX 11 with ultra settings and without DLSS frame generation is ON, you can also take double FPS using Losless Scaling program...so, you don't have to open DLSS frame generation while you are using Losless Scaling program...

Thank you for this video benchmark. I understand that my fps in MSFS are low due to my CPU (i5 10400F) with my GPU (3060 12GB). As you said it's a problem of "imbalanced systems components". I will buy a new i7 11700K for this. Thank you again 🙌✈

this is really a good comparison. it would be even better if you could add frametime into the RTSS display. alternatively the ingame FPS counter would give you a bunch of more extra details.

I wonder what the average temperature for the whole accreting matter would look like in time. Between 1:00 and 2:00 we see the disk start to glow. Does the temperature increase linearly, or was it due to spike in friction when the matter become colliding in large clumps of sattelites instead of freely moving dust?

I'm running a 5900x with the 4070 ti Super, 64GB 3200, WD Black SSD 2TB with most settings on Ultra. 1440.... Routinely maintaining 100-120 FPS, with sometimes lower when multiplayer crowds landing at busy airports (CPU bottleneck, I think). I don't feel the need to update this rig right now, not until (or IF) 2024 ever comes out. i haven't found anything this rig won't run. BTW, I use it for video editing, too... that was the choice of the 5900x.

As you can see in the video, I recently switched from a 2060 Super (8GB) to the 4070TI Super (16GB) to get about a 20% increase in performance without DLSS/frame generation. I also had to switch out my CPU for the 4070 to work effectively. Based on the original price of a 2060 super and a AM4 3600X, the cost to switch was 180% more, for a modest 25% increase in performance. *Again, this is without DLSS/frame gen.* Have we reached as far as we can with hardware technology to get good FPS? Now we have to resort to this AI 'frame gen' to give the illusion that it is better? Is it really an 'illusion' or is it really better. What are your thoughts?

That last angle was terrible. I guess you couldn't get closer to the point of impact. We're you able to get a good exterior shot of what control surface locked up?

i would just turn off crashing since I get random moments on the ground sometimes in any plane where the game glitches out and kills me

The PMDG isn't compatible with the MSFS damage as it's unrealistic. You should definetly turn it off, same thing happened to me in the Fenix

Same issue here. I delete the aircraft livery out of my simobject folder cannusually do Kay for a couple hours before it will start doing the lighting thing again. But I found there's certain path/airways that is seems to happen on everytime and some I will never have the light bug. It's so wierd

I have the same issue. No idea what is causing it. It started about the time of the second hot fix. If you find a solution please let me know.

I assume it flared itself? Thanks for this. I've done at least two flights in the stock FS2020 A320 whereby upon intercepting ILS localiser the aircraft, once at approximately 50 feet, instead of flaring, nosedives into the runway and then bounces the aircraft back up about 100 feet into the air. Tried it on two ILS approaches at two completely different airports. The only one flight I did in the FBW 320 I got a crash to desktop with no error messages, however this was several weeks ago and might well have been because I had two different sets of RAM and were running them at slow speeds, since I couldn't get XMP to work. I'm now using two matching sets of ram with same part numbers and have got XMP working by just increasing CPU SA voltage slightly, which has made a world of difference to the sim, it runs as it should do on my high end machine, whereas previously it would run less well than expected, and people with lesser system performance would get better frame rates than I did. I'm on an i7-11700K 8 cores @ 3.6GHZ, turbo boost up to 4.6GHZ 32GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX DDRR4 3200MHZ MSI Z590-A pro motherboard RTX 3070 8GB 1TB INTEL PCI-E NVME STORAGE 500GB Samsung 870 Evo SSD Now get between 35 and 50 fps in almost all scenarios and even at handcrafted large airports, such as Heathrow.
