hmmm on GW website it states the bases are 50mm round, not 60mm. "... This kit contains 18 resin components and 2x Citadel 50mm Round Bases."

Rohan Stronghold was £170 the first time around when i bought it but that was over two years ago. Therefore £195 may well be close to the mark.

Lmao at the commander sets. In many cases they are going from 4 models to 3 models. I joked that they wouldn't lower the price... But for real, these prices are unbelievably greedy. I can't even believe people in the comments are excited to buy at these prices. I switched over to 3D printing a few years ago and I absolutely can't believe what GW is asking for.

I really want to pick up Hera just because I love that model, and the Three Trolls because I like playing low model count armies.

As an aussie i dont know how GW can charge $100 for a single mini. You can get several nice 3d prints of similar minis for much lese. GW has priced itself out of the market here. It is often cheaper toget a friend or relative to buy GW models in Uk which are often discounted and pay for courier shiping to Australia, than buy the them here. Uk prices are usually less than 50% of Australia prices and the VAT is also nearly double ours. A rip off.

$5-10 for a plastic mini is insane. You can pay $60 and get a video game that hundreds of people worked on and years of entertainment. GW needs to get real

Hello! Viewer from Argentina. Just wanted to let you know that buying the core set from an importer here costs 400k pesos, which translates to about 335 US Dollars. In case you ever feel bad about your prices lol. It's pretty inaccessible unless I have someone travelling willing to bring some boxes.

I thought the gundabad orcs literally just went last chance to buy just before christmas? Whats the point in discontinuing stuff to bring it back literally a couple of months later? And the trebuchet and watcher never left did they? I got two trebuchet’s for christmas and bought the watcher in october/november time. Im glad to see the trolls return though cuz i was gutted when they vanished and had missed them

Glad we’ve got stuff coming back now, only issue I have with how certain things are repackaged going forward is adding in a captain or banner to a troop box, just ups the price and sometimes you don’t need that Captain and or banner again but another box of troops and it just adds to the price. That’s always something that’s frustrating with Iron Hills now you have to pay for that Captain and banner you won’t need after the first or second box Hopefully GW gets a lot of the range back into stock soon we’re missing an awful lot right now plus the new books etc

I’m going to be picking up Hera and the Snow Troll :D can’t wait for them! :D gonna have the full movie by the time I get round to painting them… 😅😂

Just got my Hill Trolls for Christmas! Looking forward to using them in the Rise of Angmar scenarios, but disappointed that there isn't an army in the new edition where they can be taken alongside the Witch-king.

Think I’ll pick some of these up in a few months time to drop into a Carn dum army, really cool you can take them in that Army list.

Really liking that Lothlorien scheme, having those metallics be similar yet different enough to not blend together looks really cool. The orc conversions are neat too, did a handful on mine too to reuse the two-handers as archers/spearmen and I'm thinking of picking up a few more at some point for some more spearmen. Not sure if I mentioned this on the painting video but those werewolves are gorgeous, really nice and effective scheme. Also been working on my Angmar stuff, finished Nazthak and the Shadow who are easily some of my favourite paintjobs. Finished a set of spectres too and I'm currently working on some Barrow Wights. These guys have really made me fall in love with painting corroded metals, they're so simple but it's a really effective look. Finally managed to find a set of the original metal orcs as well (for way too much money, sadly 😢) and I've cleaned, based and primed those to get working on after Christmas. Converted the two handers as well to use them as another banner (legal now because my other one has a shield lol), a taskmaster (inspired by the one from the classic animated movie) and a drummer (using a bit from my Tomb Kings box, funnily enough). Gave my MtO Frodo and Sam shields and a bit of tactical rock so I can use them as undercover orcs as well. As for plans for next year, I'm thinking of picking up some more Ringwraiths. A friend of mine has one of the plastic fellbeasts and I'd like to grab another so I can run Wraiths on Wings at 600pts because that list sounds pretty fun, but otherwise I'd really like to make a dent into my Tomb Kings and Fallout Wasteland Warfare backlogs. That is, unless the Armies of ME book gives me more inspiration for a new army 😅 Anyway, bit of an essay, but then it has been a bit, I suppose 😅. Have yourself a happy end of the year and let's all have a good hobbying 2025!

Looks really nice. I love the multi-part models. I was sorely disappointed in the mono-pose models of the previous edition-they were sculpted really well but there were severe sacrifices made to make them easy to build. This looks like a really nice kit.

I'm actually surprised anyone would complain about getting models that are far superior to the old sculpts, but I guess people have to find things to complain about
