Where is Mr. Borge when we need him?
It takes mastery to so expertly mock the music pieces as he did.
I suppose the closest we have these days to a Victor Borge is Bill Bailey. But I do wish Borge had indulged us in some longer pieces, extended gags, even.

if TV were like this now adays.. i'd actually watch. odd i find TV bits from before i was born.. way better than any of the stuff on TV now.
No kidding. I find that I spend more time on YT and Netflix that watching TV. There are some programs that we like, but these days, unlike in the past, you start watching a weekly show, then all of a sudden, it's REPEATS REPEATS REPEATS for the next few weeks. It's really hard to find good programming these days. Sure, there are some, but few and far between.

Nobody else found the beginning strange? Hun hugging and touching up on all those MUCH younger girls and giving them a kiss on the lips…very creepy. Like breeding them.
Ummm yeah! Not only that, but after announcing that the woman hugging him was about to get married, they KISSED ON THE LIPS! That was a time when people didn't seem to be concerned about womanizers and pedos so much. But then again, these days, we have the republican party with the likes of tRump who IN A VIDEO INTERVIEW actually said that if his daughter wasn't his daughter, HE'D DATE HER! The mindset continues.

I've never heard of this guy before.. My wife mentioned him to me and wanted to check it out... He is hilarious and talented... will watch more of him.

This man was nothing short of a genius and a legend! There will never be anyone like him again. (He would likely say something like "fortunately".) He made it all look so easy yet those of us who have had to play the piano in front of a large audience know better. He's gone but his antics live on, fortunately! LOL
