It’s once you have submitted your training file and then have been invited to membership and paid - for me it was just under 3.5 years since starting the 3 year training contract ☺️ (submitted just after 3, just over a couple months waiting for it all to go through, obtaining membership and then a few weeks for the certificate coming in the post)

Keep pushing - you will be amazed at how quickly the time flies and you will be qualified before you know it 🤞

If you start out with an authorised training employer you will receive on the job training and will learn a lot very quickly! www.icaew.com/about-icaew/who-we-are/who-we-work-with/employers

It is possible if you were able to obtain a training contract with an authorised training employer from the UK. It is worth looking into if you are interested!

Thank you so so much for your kind words. Messages like this really do go such a long way and I am so grateful for your support. There absolutely is room for everyone. My aim is always to better myself each day and to only focus on myself and my own goals. It helps to get inspiration from others around me or online to see other versions of success and gains tips or motivation from that. Please do not be hard on yourself. You are already doing the right thing it seems and are heading in the right direction. It will just take time. It might be worth seeing if you can work your way up with the screens practicing slowly to increase your screen time. It may just be that you need regular short breaks or to do some eye exercises every so often. It may be worth exploring if you are interested. I hope it all goes well for you 🤞

@@howareyouhi7748 no it will still be the 15 exams, where you study independently or with an ATE there is no impact made on that. I believe are referring to exemptions/credit for prior learning where if you have perhaps covered the modules at uni you may be able to reduce the number of exams as you can obtain an exemption. Not that I can recall, maaaybe once but from memory probably not - I was really conscious of that before implementing the ads but it seems it’s been ok and when I read other blogs it hasn’t bothered me too much. Just try not to overdo it!
