chesed's home abno page also works well with the thumb, since their ranged attacks let you attack enemies in the right order at the very start of the scene and get the extra damage bonus for the rest of your attacks

I'm so late to this vid but ngl this is kind of the reason why I dislike recommending first time players to look up guides, cause a lot of the difficulty in the game comes from figuring out what to do. So once a guide just tells you a set strategy on how and what to do a lot of the game becomes very procedural and simple, especially since the game tends to hard favor the player rather than the enemies assuming the player knows what they're doing. But I suppose not everyone enjoys the process of trial and error on initial playthroughs, which, granted, can be frustrating.

So to answer why bullets are expensive. Not only bullets are. Guns are as well. And only allowed by Head Workshops can meet criteria, and tax to make them. Same for bullets. In the City, you need permission for every gun part and blueprint of what gun you will make, increasing costs. Same for bullet, more power, more taxes, to the point only well established places have money to make them. More over, in the City, people can upgrade their body with artifical means, magical enhancment,s robotic bodies, special tattoes to name a few. If you have money, you can get so strong that you can deflect bullets or straight avoid them. As for armor, the suits that people wear most of the time provide better protection that steel armor. The Head, Leader of the City, made sure that people would use melee weapons, since they want to fight to be personal, same for killing.

i run 2 copys of surpressing cause i use hanafuda's passive on my kalo gun deck so its suddenly 1 mana cycle. still not great but it gives decent results.

After many tries and errors, I believe the best way to use the Thumb is not to be greedy about ammo and to use one or two per turn. In the videos, in the section "How do I play" you mention how to make use of the passive, but I think there is an even bigger advantage to the Thumb that not many players noticed. Most Thumb key pages use Both melee and Range pages, Do you know what that means? We can build any deck with only 3-4 pages in hand instead of 8-9 pages. Nothing is stopping you from running 3 Juggling or take the shot. After 1-2 turns you will use up all 1-cost range pages, leaving only the non-exhaust good pages (usually singleton because they are very good) Making decks this way is much stronger than focusing on ammo. You could even run 3 shock round 1 brace up (if you using Kalo) or 1 page that draw on being discarded 2 omnibus power the rest is 1-cost exhaust range pages Every turn you can spam 3 shock rounds + brace up. Who cares about math and strategy if you can just shoot enemies to death

Using a thumb page to fill the hand with ammo to void it all the way was one of the first things I tried when trying to utilize ARTV The most difficult part is trying to get to emotion level 5 with a lot of bullets in hand, while also avoiding to clog your hand too early. The balance can be hard to find. Still, I’m just happy my favorite Abno page got mentioned :)

This tutorial was a godsend bro, I spent like an entire week trying to defeat Xiao. I followed everything closely but unfortunately my Yesod Purple Tear died on the third scene of Xiao second act so I had to synergize with Mal-cute’s floor. Malkuth absolutely decimated Xiao’s remaining stagger bar and I just went full rampage mode on staggered Xiao.

I like this fight precisely because it is so simple. It not having passives that require precise teambuilding feels like it's saying "Let's get right into the fight, no BS, you and me, mano a mano".

I didnt know xiao is considered the strongest boss... I feel like i have more problem with purple tear, while this fight get 'red-misted' on my first try...
