That is a good point honestly bro, I was gonna touch on it a bit during the video but I felt it wasn’t too important so I cut it out but at 160 the acapella just started to sound super stretch and “digital” so I decided to take it down to 151 where it stopped sounding that strange, having it that slow does put into question wether it’s even a DnB track or not though 😭

What’s going on bro, the audio cutting out every 3 seconds means the “patch” wasn’t applied correctly, I would give that part of the video another try to see if it works then, I do know that sometimes it also doesn’t apply until you restart your computer so maybe that can help too bro

Yes bro these for the most part are all from Nexus expansion libraries, I labeled them in the video if you want to know which ones specifically! I labeled them as “Nexus - bigtone signature 3 - Pure Love” with the middle name being the expansion pack used

All the sounds for this song specifically came from Nexus 4 bro, mostly all of them from the Lofi 1 expansion and the bigtone signature 1, 2, 3 expansions :-)

Good question bro! It was actually something I added in at the very end while experimenting with the sound to try and get some more “shine” and excitement out of it and I happened to prefer the subtle change when placed before the filter compared to after! Similar idea with the OTT too, was just trying to get a little more excitement out of the sound and thought it did the trick (I also wanted the filter at the very end of everything to tame down the sound a bit since it was very piercing and harsh after the OTT)

It’s more for the tonal change like you first mentioned bro, the multi band compressor in Vital is modeled after OTT which really has a very aggressive sound when cranked which is what I was looking for. It’s very subtle especially after filtering after but I thought it helped give the sound a bit more “shine” if that makes sense :-)
