From The Taller You Are, the Shorter You Get (1989)
Gotta admit the band name hits a bit different after my own dad passed
Charlie in the pocket. Don't forget the lead guitar. Solid
Obviously Pete wrote this song after "discovering" J J Cale. Great attempt at recreating the "Tulsa Sound".
Uncle Larry said learn this song and I can see a beaver dance . SHAKE IT !
The late Charlie Watts on the 'skins'. As tight as you like.
rose mcdowell on the coda gave me chills
On
Love Charlie Watts 👍
Superb production by the fabuloso Glyn Johns.
one of the most important songs i’ve ever heard.
As it says on the album...an absolute classic masterpiece.
Granderrimi!!! 🖤 Roberto from Italy 🇮🇹
Charles Watts is Rock n Roll a Master.
There's a way too beat the blues " listen to this song " YOU'LL BEAT THEM !
I met you in the 80's when you came to Seattle, performed at the Ditto Tavern, and I think you might of stayed at our house. Great music, still is great after all this time.
RIP, Charlie!
1977. The only album I bought that year. As tight as you like. Superb. RIP Charlie.
Charlie Watts on drums !
チャーリー、ありがとう。 俺はこの曲のチャーリーが一番好きです😃 さようなら。
Too bad they never played this live
R.I.P Charlie Watts.. such an underrated drummer. 🙏🏻🥁
Nothing flashy he always just layed it down Keith said in a interview one time that Charlie and Bill they are the engine of the Rolling Stones
Whoever "under rates" Charlie Watts as a drummer obviously is not in any position to rate drummers. Being the drummer behind Mick and Keef automatically puts him near the top of the list of great drummers. I hope u understand that. He is/was hardly ': underrated. He was highly respected for his talent therefore highly rated
He's not underrated in my house! ✌️
RIP, Mr. Watts....
RIP Charlie Watts.
Rest In Peace Charlie. Always our darling 💔
Kind of reshuffles the deck, as to which of these British Icons found each other and worked together.
Mr Watts laying it down nice and tight for everyone. Cracking track from a class album. Bought it in 1977 as an LP, then as a CD when they came along.
❤🖤💜💕
Ronnie Lane on rhythm guitar!
when i was 15 i thought that love was all that mattered and it did .....it was a Fortune to find this song.
I love this
To you Ronny Lane. What you lost in death you gave in life..Tj Struska
One of the best bands ever
With the internet it’s easier for her to give it away
LOL
Great song, I love it on my old vinyl album ua-cam.com/video/MwGxNL8_0gU/v-deo.html
Charlie!
Charlie's good tonight!!!
RIP....
This and Sunshine Bathed the Golden Glow are their two best songs imho.
I'm partial to "Dismantled King..." But there's so much greatness here that it's pretty arbitrary at some point
i agree but dont forget primitive painters and crystal ball and others but i understand .....its all good to be felt .....
Sunlight not sunshine
awesome!
Chris and me
What is this? The rarest album ever?
Michael Long used to hear this every day on WPLJ (recently defunct! may 2019) in the 77 to 80 time window. then they stopped playing this kind of stuff.. I'd forgotten about this one until hearing it again as I was curious about this album. I can get lost for whole weekends on UA-cam hearing stuff I only remember as choruses or lyrics when I was a kid. fast buck Freddie, third time lucky, we can be together ... forgot em all till rediscovering them here!
Ian mcglagen said " great album I only recently discovered, sorry" . Kutschy Rye with pete, live.

What a fucking great song. Brasil five stars!!!!!
What a fucking song.
Love this album Keep Me Turning and Heart to Hang onto Awesome
Wow! Solid drummin on the kit... makes me want to play the drums now... haven't played my kit in years to this song! Love the song Slip Kid tooooo!
This is one group that was an accidental discovery (and a bloody great one!!). Had all the stuff by the individual artists in the band but never heard this (poor me eh??). Did anyone else think that it was Clapton singing though??
Maravilha !!!
MASTERPIECE.
Hey, Chris!
Thanks Pete.
Too bad Ronnie went down with MS.
