I had one of those on my ‘55 truck with the tunnel ram, and every time it backfired it burned up the element leaving crumbly matter to fall into the carb. Fun times.

Depends on what it is. Old small bock chevys minimum oil pressure is 8psi. Modern cars run a little higher, closer to 30 psi to 60 psi, depending on load. Fun fact, ford oil pressure switches were on, or off, there was no real pressure reading. 80s and 90s cars and trucks.
