Doesn't the Tremor have a more advanced terrain mamagement system thean the FX4?
While we had it, there were no issues...but that was 7-8yrs ago.

The biggest difference is 4x4 does not cone with a locker rear differential. FX4 and Tremor and Raptor does have a locker.
Yes, that's true, however, the rear locker can also come on a tow/haul package, as well as a stand alone option...depending on the rear axle ratio and powertrain chosen. There is such a labyrinth of options available, as well as tow ratings depending on cab, chassis, powertrain and axel...a visit to a dealer to discuss what you plan to use your truck for is absolutely key in making sure you find the right truck for your needs.
@@ryanheikoop I can confirm that my 2022 F150 XLT 4x4 (not Fx4) with tow/haul package and 3.73 axle ratio has locking rear diff.

This is a National Marketing campaign that has been put on by Ford. I'm simply sharing the details of the program. This is a great deal as it's forcing us to discount the vehicle similarly to fleet company pricing. I'm with you, I too would prefer payments on a monthly basis, but the majority of the people we speak with request bi-weekly payments, so we're giving people what they want. Also, for full disclosure, $249/bi-weekly works out to $539.50/m.
Don't know why you prefer monthly. Most of the people I know including myself prefer and compare prices on bi-weekly basis. If the provided price is monthly I simply convert it to bi-weekly. If the price clearly say bi-weekly or monthly, then it is not an advertising gimmick.
@@Justkevin377 there are 26 biweekly payments and 12 monthly payments.. so MONTHLY payment is not 2x biweekly.

Sorry for the late response, the original MSRP on this truck was $108,995 plus fees and tax, but if you pay cash or finance through the bank, and you currently own an F150, you'd qualify for savings after tax of just over $18,000. That means you could do a cash purchase today for $94,495 plus fees and tax, then after tax is calculated, Ford will give you another $1500 of delivery credit if you currently own an F150!
Correct me if I am wrong, but my 21 Limited PB with Bluecruise requires my hands to be on the wheel with Sync 4 version. Has a hands-free mode been made on the 23/24 version?

Yes, if you have SYNC4, you have wireless CarPlay/AndroidAuto. What else is neat is the addition of the search and videos function within the onboard owners manual. I've found that very handy at times. Select '21 and newer models of Bronco, Mach-E, Lightning, F150, Edge and Expedition have SYNC4, regardless of trim. However, to double check, on the SYNC touchscreen, go to 'General' settings, then touch 'About SYNC', which will confirm the version you have.

Thanks, this was helpful! All my life I wanted a 4x4. I finally got one in 2017, a new F150 XLT Crew Cab 4x4 with 2.7l Eco-Boost. This was after driving my 1997 F150 XLT Super Cab 2WD for 20 years, and my 1978 F100 Custom Regular Cab 2WD for 19 years. My main confusion was not knowing the differences between the 4x4 and the FX4. I drove my 2WD trucks in some pretty nasty places on hunting trips, and they always got me out as well as in, but the 4WD is great peace of mind. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for your feedback! There are further detail difference between available axel ratios with open, limited slip and locking differentials...but these are the basics. Thanks for being such a huge F-Series fan, and yes, a good driver with the right tires can get through some pretty nasty stuff! LOL

1:03 I know this is an old video and therefore things may be different now, but I would never ever ever recommend someone not get proper winter tires just because it has all seasons. All seasons might do the trick wherever you are located, but they certainly fall short for Canadian winters, especially since this is a RWD biased AWD system.
