I lost count of the times I've watched this video. It's just a perfect vibe for when I need some drive to push through something. Cause the drive is strong in this one. And the little shout at the end. Watching this is just a good way to get motivation. And it introduced me to a fantastic song I didn't know. Oh that looks fantastic! I love how you can see the little boats in the distance. ^^ It makes me wanna draw you in a more brightly colored, vibrant, holiday sort of vibe. 'A dancing Jedi having fun at the beach'. That's an amazing prompt right there! xD I'm not going to see the ocean any time soon, but I am going to spend some time in a beautiful mountain region next weekend. I'm patting myself on the shoulder right now for the idea to give you different colours, haha! :D It's also super fascinating to see how you go about the flow of a song in two different takes, side by side. I will confess that I did not think about the meaning of this song in the slightest when I picked it. Really just wanted to pick a song that would sound good with Own Little World - the song which held all the meaning for me in that video. Because I wanted to welcome you into my world after being welcomed into yours. I tried a bunch of different tunes but this one just felt the most natural there. I guess that's one of the biggest differences in our art. I choose the music after the art is already recorded. (: All that to say I was so focused on the sound and feel of the song in my video, that I haven't thought about the lyrics and theme of the song until now. xD Some of what you brought up reminds me of the line: "Are we to be held hostage by our tolerance of the intolerant?" (Dark Tranquility - Faithless by default). Really made me think about all that for the first time when I heard it. But that song is pretty obvious in its message. To me, Kill Mercy Within isn't quite as clear. Reading it now, I would relate it more to the mercy I show my self-destructive side. Sometimes I still tolerate it. But I'm working on it and I've gotten much better at killing the mercy I hold for my disregard for my own well being. To me the song is about freeing myself of self harm. Self harm which is often fuelled by being forced to fit a system not built to fit me. All these personal, social and political issues are connected in the end of course. That's what this song means to me I guess. Loving your output lately! So much cool stuff in here. <3 While watching this, I did think: Oh cool, this one is more effective in it's simplicity! It's obviously a deliberate choice on your part, which makes it even cooler, cause it works! I don't really operate on expectations. On paper that sounds great, but I've learnt that this can be a blessing or a curse depending on the situation. Because it means that my brain tries to process everything as an unexpected thing happening (instead of just the things I would have gotten wrong). With art it's usually a blessing. The thumbnail did give me an inkling I would say. But based on what I've seen you do before - logically - I felt it could go all directions. I guess I'm not fully sure how expectations are felt by people. I believe it's something that happens more intuitively. Based on the categorisation of things in peoples brains. Which my autistic brain sort of refuses to do in the first place. So if I ever do come to expect something, it is based on my logical thinking - which requires very actively thinking about it. Usually this leads me to keep a lot of possible out comes in mind instead of having a fixed expectation. And I always keep in mind that I simply don't know. Because logically I don't. That said, I don't often do any of what I just explained. Because I have to actively choose to do it. And honestly, it's not worth the trouble most times. In the end I'll just have to 'wait and see' either way. xD It could mean I'm just less of an over-thinker, or more laid back I guess. My mindset is very 'anything could happen at any time so it's not worth thinking about'. On the flip side that means I am sometimes underprepared for things I maybe should have thought about more. I like to take things as they come. Well, as you can see your little questions were quite thought provoking! We humans are hella complex and full of contradictions. I notice a lot of that in myself when it comes to the topic of expectations. Alright then, I'm off listening to Expectations by Three Days Grace! :D Have a great time! ^^

Omg! You’ve put the craziness of the sound into perfect wiggly wobbly visualisation craziness! Love it! Makes the tune even crazier! And as crazy people are- the crazier, the better^^🎉😂 In the end the kaleidoscope almost turns into circles! This one feels like it's telling me a story and I love that! Beautifully edited once again. This chapter really lends itself to playing around creatively it seems. Fun to watch <3

I personally like the Clip! Unfortunately, I went through too much and it still affects my life. My black soul is unable to recover, I have been taken advantage of, and when I no longer need to, I am put aside. I don't know how long I can last that. I have epilepsy to moderate severe Bipolar Depressive Ones, hyperactivity in childhood is a psychological problem and everything stems from this. But my epilepsy is a previous problem. But I'm surviving, or at least I'm trying! I love Korn, I've been a fan for 20 years. It's not for nothing that I love Rock, Metal and Blues music that helps me survive.

The entire cut sequence after 3:08 is brilliant. I love how the cuts are placed with the music, made my heart skip, super cool! <3 Also felt a certain heaviness in the flow here and the reflection gives that heaviness a thoughtful, philosophical note in a way. That perfectly mirrored split brings a sort of order to the chaos. Takes that heaviness and puts it on a scale. At least that's what it makes me feel right now. (: Black Is The Soul was one of the first KoRn songs I ever heard. Made me think of a good friend who was going down a really dark path at the time. Back when I was still refusing to see my own dark path. It was a few years later - when I stumbled across The Nothing in a bookstore that also sold records - that I could open up to myself in that way. But that was still only a few steps down the KoRn stairs. When Requiem came out I finally decided to listen to the entire KoRn discography for the first time. Insane experience. Discovering KoRn was a slow decent for me that stretched over many years. And I opened many doors along that way. Doors I had forgotten. Love this video, all the best! <3

Why do you always have to fall so deep to learn something? Why do WE have to? It’s because they abused our souls, they took everything from us, they made us wish, we never existed. Because what’s the difference between being and not being seen and constantly hurt and not existing? It seems like there is none. But there is one: The difference is, that we chose to keep on loving for the better, for love, for hope and for safety. We sometimes fall into such dark places because we had to grow up there. We don’t know it any other way. We are used to be fucked up so fucking up again is the know- the easy way- out. Just as Yoda says, fear and anger is such an easy place to get to. Love and trust isn’t. Be patient with yourself. Let’s be patient with each other. It might take some time to finally reach this place of final love, trust and safety. But just because we got trapped on the dark side, it doesn’t mean, we are weak. It doesn’t mean we are like are parents or such. It just means, that we have been trapped by them in this dark place for way too long to sometimes keep the hope for the good place. The good place still is somewhat like a fantasy place. Because we have gotten in touch with it way too less. The more we keep in touch with this lovely place, the more we will gain trust in ourselves and the other. Because it is no fantasy place. It is real. And I will not stop believing we also can get there 🖤
