The one day of snow was very nice. But how long did you wanted the snow to stay around? Because the city basically shut down until the weather got warmer. We don't know how to drive in the icy roads.

It was. Where do you think has the best "Banh Mi" in Beaumont, Port Arthur, or Mid-County? When I was growing up in Port Arthur, my friend's mom owned a small Banh Mi shop inside of the Saigon Market off of 9th Avenue and Thomas Blvd. That was where we went for Banh Mi often.

Thanks for watching. What is your favorite things to order at Portillo's? I have never heard of the restaurant before they opened in Houston, Texas, so I am not familiar with what to order. I will need to try their shakes the next time I come back to try their hamburger and chili cheese hotdog.

@ Can’t go wrong with the hamburgers, the hotdogs are great but never put ketchup on a hotdog. Pickle spear, white onions, celery salt with an order of the crinkle fries. The cake shakes are exactly what it sounds like, one large slice of chocolate cake put into a shake machine.

@@DeadHermit Thanks for the tip on the hotdog. I grew up putting ketchup on hotdogs. 😅 I made another video where I dipped Fried Chicken into ketchup, and people were berating me for it.

Why Not?

I am trying my best to think when was my first time eating at a BBQ restaurant in Texas, and I think it is in my 20's when I moved to Houston, Texas after college. I think when I was younger, we usually grill chicken wings, boudain, ribs, and thin slices of beef. Never Brisket.

Sorry. I have never heard of an Italian Beef before Portillo's opening in Houston, Texas, so I didn't know what it taste like. Going by pictures and what it looked like to me, my first thought was that it looked like a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich.

@@HoustonEats I stumbled across Portillo's while in Chicago for a class. It was different from anything I had before. I think it will take a little while for Texans to acquire a taste for it, but I'm sure they will.

@@SuburbanBBQ Seeing how crowded Portillo's was, I assume that there are many people that grew up in Chicago that are currently living in Houston. Or that there are people that visited Chicago and tried Portillo's and in the and love their food. I would love to interview people to ask for people's stories relating to Portillo's or ask them how they like the food. But I am afraid of bothering people and making people upset.

Portillo’s is a Chicago thing! If you know, you know. It’s not a Philly cheesesteak by any stretch. I could see that line of thought if you’ve never had it. They make the best beef, hands down!!!

Thanks for the advice, and I 100% agree with you. I hope I can find more people to record videos with this year. I want to be behind the camera recording other people eat and review the food. People that have more Food Knowledge and experiences than I do.

Hi Linda. Thanks for watching and for the honest review. 1. I am sorry for my poor eating habits. I am trying to cut that out in future videos. 2. I have the camera set up at the edge of the table, so many people have complained that the camera is too close. I need to set up a Tripod, so that I can set the camera further away from me. 3. I hope that I can work with 1,000 different people from around the Houston area in the future, so hopefully, I won't be in all of the videos.

Thanks for watching the video. I usually like to soak the corn at the bottom in the broth. I think the corn soaks in more of the flavor than anything else, so I usually eat the corn for flavor.
