Palia - How to make steps from shelves
This is a tutorial on creating steps using shelves with Lilian's "One Cup Technique."
For this, you'll need one dessert bowl, a stack of dinner plates from the gourmet set, and the shelves you intend to use.
Important: Do not use a building block wall when constructing these stairs, as selecting the dessert bowl and the shelf together will also select the wall.

is this only for armchairs ? I've been trying to do this but its not working at all :c
I found if u add a gourmet bowl to the top of each 1 and alt select the bowl u can do the large fish tanks the same way. Then remove the gourmet bow for the next 1.

So merging furniture still works. I notice you can't cross two furnitures center points. And I'm not sure you've mentioned that on PC youneed to select the bowl ontop of the furnitre while holding the "alt" button. I' not sure what the switch button would be.
I have tried this multiple times and they will not stack on top of each other. No matter what direction I'm facing and no matter which way I stack them. I just don't understand =/

@@MegaKingPR i was just placing them turned instead of straight and sometimes had to also turn the bottom one im taking off. it eventually worked through some trial and error

Thank you so much for your videos, they helped me a lot! Maybe as an video idea: I've seen plots where the items are partly sunken into the ground. It even looks like you can do it with fish so that the ground looks like water. I cannot find any yt-tutorial for that and would be so grateful to know how to do that. :)

@@abery001 you can't use a small bowl. I wanted to make an arch out of mantises and according to the video it's not possible :(
@@bella-malowanyj. You need to place bug case rotated 90 degrees, with the short side faceing you.
@@bella-malowanyj. I found out with a lot of trial and error that you can use the gourmet SOUP bowl to do the larger aquariums and you can do them facing forward!

I'm a bit confused on how to glitch the lamp into the cage? How do we do that?
This technique also works using a shelf on two builders walls, which is a bit easier to navigate around than using the side of the house!
Using builder walls doesn't make the butterfly smoosh together. It'll stay with gaps
This was so clear and easy to understand, same with the tutorial foe rotating bug containers. I would love to see you do tutorials on other decorating techniques, so many people skip over details or don't explain clearly but your videos are so well explained and clear!
